Yeah, Batjew's definitely the man. I read PA but I almost read it for the NEWS instead of the actual comics. The comics do have their moments of hilarity, but even the side splittingones seem to pale in comparison to the funniness of the news update, especially what with the witty banter going on between all the various people behind the scenes at PA (can't get enough of
Love & Hate with Kara and Batjew) I've considered bringing in my own crew (a lot of which were mentioned in that picture) but I'd hate to be marked as a
Penny-Arcade ripoff, because nobody likes unoriginal people. But truth be told, a number of my characters are based (either loosely or directly) off of real people, and their screen names. Including a couple characters which I've yet to actually introduce, but are still sitting around in my noggin. I won't mention them because, well, that ruins the surprise, and I've already probably said more than anyone cares to hear about.
Crap, did I plug movie comics? Don't give them hits! They scare me. Go read
Xorph instead. It's good stuff. And I'm not just saying that because Brendan set himself up as the Tycho to my Gabe (which is odd, he draws better than me). No more typing! Drawing now!
