Posting here helps alot, then people actually know you exist instead of you being just another comic in a list of what..... a couple thousand. And toss your name onto a few webcomic directories. You'll toplle the 100 visit hurdle easy!

I'm gonna walk around downtown Toronto and deck people, screaming my link my link at the as I do so. They'll go, hoping to find out why the hell I hit them.
...in theory.

Heck, just take up a lil hobby like, say, serial killing, and the world will come to your website trying to understand why you did it. "I did it for the hits, baby!"

What the hell are visits every time a file is opened? Cause I know for a fact I don't get that many people.
There's a very good helpfile for the Webalizer here:
http://www.webalizer.com/webalizer_help.html

As for Bookwyrms, I've been doing fairly well so far.

first month 1431 Visits 47/day
second month (July) 2290 Visits 73/day
right now for August I'm sitting at 1055 Visits 95/day
I was at 101/day Friday, but weekends are always slow for me (MWF update schedule)

I didn't get too many hits, but y'know how it is when you start on the 25th. I've been getting more lately. TWC owns. I'm like #75 on that list and it's been less than a month. (Out of 150)

well, I've had only 1164 visits in the four months that i've been posting.
but as I using the site as a way to learn the form, I'm not too disappointed.
I'm just trying to figure out who's reading it at all.

I'm pretty sure that it's not just me looking at my own site...
or is it?
hmmm.

my hits vary drasticlly my lowest month was "16" and my highest month was "3112" I had a fluke day with 14,812 hits. and another that was 10,356 It depends on how hard I try to promote it. Last 2 months it's been 700 range. But That's cause I deleted most of my comics.

*Takes his manga-styled, dialogue driven webcomic with a 4-year storyline and edges slowly away from scrubbo.* ;)

Man, if anything kills my visits its the weekend. Friday's I usually get about 80-100, then Saturday around 40-60, and Sunday peters out at 25 usually. Then when a new strip arrives on Monday, I get like 40-50 and it takes the entire week to pick up steam again...just for it to fall again.
