i need more drawing lessons...

Postby Bluecanary on Wed Jun 19, 2002 1:33 pm

i'm working on the next comic.
the "fix my computer" comic that i was going to do will just be scraped.
i'm having difficulty getting a pose right.
this is making me think i need some life drawing classes, asap.

therefore the next comic in the storyline should be up on friday.
i'm still usinghte scanner at the local kinko's and i prolly will be next week, too.

my boyfriend who can fix this problem in "on call" this weekend.
that means if they need him to fix any computer problems at the factory, he has to go. so he can't leave oscela which is an hour away from where i am in jonesboro. yuck. :-?

however, he does have a scanner of his own and i plan on scanning some comics.
in the meantime, i'm looking of art classes. 8^) i could use the practice.

hey skane! i can't find that e-mail with your address?
could you e-mail it again? thanks! :D

Postby Bluecanary on Mon Jun 24, 2002 5:50 am

well, no comic because i spent most of this weekend looking for a wacom tablet. i thought i could draw little passing sketch comics if i have trouble with a scanner ever again. would you believe that best buy doesn't carry them? ug. no fair. i thought for sure they'd have it. i'll keep looking.

still looking for drawing classes.

no fixed scanner because my guy was on call and couldn't leave the town he's in, but you guys knew that...

i'm getting on that next comic though, wacom or no wacom.
i'll start on it right after i mail those sketches to skane and kunou. 8^)

Hey there! Glad to hear about the Wacom tablet! I just got one myself and I've been using mine for a few weeks over at Kota's World. I'm in love with the thing. I don't know how I got along without it. Hope to see more comics soon! Later.

kev! hey!

and i am just re-reading your archives! lol
coincidences abound!
i had to slack off reading some comics during my last semester of school, but now i find oodles of time to catch back up on them. i'm enjoying it, i think more than i did the first time around.
i do have questions, but i'll bug you on your own board with those once i get caught up til today. 8^)

wacoms are so cool! i'm glad you like yours. such fun things they are.

yeah, i hope to see more comics, too! back to drawing!
*my inner artist cracks a whip. back to work!*
ok, i'm going! i'm going!

Dude, when all else fails, draw your boyfriend! 8) They're handy, cheap models who usually work for hamburgers and fries.
