Hi there everyone, this is your local cartoonist speaking!

Anyways, I wanted to get your opinion on what you would like to see on TWOC desktop wallpapers. I'm thinking of making one of each charactor, but it will be up to you to determine which order they are made in.

So please vote saying what you would prefer... Hopefully I actually GET some people participating in this...

I'd like to see Mitch go first. He's a dragon and dragons should always go first.
(Like they always said in my D&D runs. "I sense great danger. . . you go first." )

I think hazel would be a good place to start, she is sort of the star, right? What about a group shot? Or do you want to give each of the characters their time in the spotlight?

I also think Hazel would be a good first choice... also, perhaps a group shot of the entire cast at a later time. Also, perhaps a group picture of all the pixies instead of showing them separately.

Right now I'm thinking that there will be about three versions of the desktop wallpaper. What will they be? You'll see. 8)

OK, don't be alarmed ... but there are a few other people that post on this board form time to time. Actually, I nearly had the same reaction when you first started posting.

Don't worry, I'm still working on the backgrounds, in fact I've finished the inking process on this and am working on coloring it presently.



See? Here's the same section I showed you before. Now when you consider that this is only a small section of the wallpaper, you can understand why it's taking a while...

I've had to do a bunch of studying of forests in the area where I live to get more of an idea of how they would be colored, so it's a bit of a challenge to me... But then challenges are part of what makes art fun!

There's gonna tons of trees and ferns and greenery and even a little stream in it. (It'll be so cool!)

Well, I've finished coloring two of the three versions of this, and I'm super happy with the results. Now I've just got to do the third version, which I believe won't take too long...

What? you want to know what I mean by different versions? Basically it's three color schemes based on the same thing. Depending on the subject it will have different applications. For example with Hazel here the three schemes are 'Day', 'Night', and 'Thought'. Now I just have Night to finish up. It's going to be different from the others in that it'll have mist and moonbeams and such.

As to when you'll be seeing them, I've decided that the next site update will be on August 30th and you'll be seeing the wallpaper versions coming up then along with a charactor section, the finished story section, and some special link banners I've made.
