i'm well aware of this, but if you link the proton cannon on to the end of ironman's or storm's air combo into super on to hers just sheer hit count will bring you very close to instant death on a 100 percent life character.

I'd also like to mention that there are combo resets wherein in an infinite your opponent can switch you up or time something a little different, throw you mid combo, ect...all to reset the hit counter so damage scaling takes place all over again. You're dead before you know it, if they can pull that on you.

Which makes me wonder why this topic began at all when Shoryuken exists for the same purpose... :P Then again... it was a nice little debate...

not only that.. but nearly ever sprite comic tends to have gamer fans...

and it's only natural that gamers talk about games.

man.. if you've seen the new stuff (my friends are mk fans... never particularly cared for it meself...) it says that your supposed to be able to change fighting styles "on the fly".... i doubt it... and if you can... working it into combos is going to be akward as all get out. and it looks like um... fecal....

i'll stick to capcom games...

Changing styles "on the fly" is nothing new, but working that into MK for every character is just sad... they should let the game die already, and unfortunately I think I heard a rumor aboutr another movie...

ok.. we all love fighting games... so what needs to be put into a fighting game to keep the genre interesting?

more characters?

new types of areas?

weapons?

Um... Perhaps new concept? Better plots? Less plot holes? Flashy bells and whistles? The problem with most fighting games is that they have little to no replayability. There's almost nothing to do after a week except pummel your friends!

that was one of the great things about alpha 3 and the the newer vrs series on console... they gave you incentives for playing.

lotsa games don't got that now.. i mean if you look at some of the newer fighters they dont' offer much replay..
