Okay.
Give a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish, he eats for a lifetime.
I realize that's a simple proverb, and not necessarily an adage (although the two can be synonimous in some contexts), but my understanding is that Franc believes that a saying=a proverb=an adage. Correct me if I'm wrong, please.
And no, I'm not disagreeing at all with Pharaoh's definition. I'm just trying to understand WHAT, exactly, Franc disagrees with about it.
