An old buddy of mine gets the medal for Outstanding Accomplishments in Sexual Activites While Operating a Moving Vehicle.

He and his wife of three months were driving back to Louisiana from Kansas in his mother's old Camaro, when she pulls down her kit and straddles his lap. They actually screwed... and finished... as he kept the camaro going over 80 down the interstate.

So much tragedy in comics lately. . . (at least those that I read). Sure hope that everything comes out to a comedic resolve!

*Artists Disclaimer*
No characters were, or will be, harmed during the drawing of these next few strips.
(I say next few, because we may kill one of them in another story)

Neither Godpoop or I care about character development. This is not that kind of comic people! C'mon, we're doing the best we can just to be funny.
I'll let the comic speak for itself.

Hear! Hear! Down with character development! It's killed too many fine humor comics already!
Of course, I'm the one that isn't JP Sloan or Jim North.

I'm not saying that there's anyting wrong with character development, don't get me wrong. It's just doesn't fit into the Fiddly style.

Perhaps I should have said, "Down with non-funny character development."

Characters can be developed and fleshed out while still remaining funny. You don't need to take time out from the funny to develop characters (I'm watching you, Sloan...).

Ive said it before, and Ill say it again, humour is the centre of comics. Unless its an action comic. In which case my theory is wrong. shit.

BTW, Sunday's strip was good!

Icky, but good.

The timing (if there be such a thing in print media) was right!

Thank you Sloan, that was a point that Godpoop and I struggled with for a bit.
And what do you mean by "icky"? There was no mess....

Oh, there most definitely be such a thing. Never overlook the impact of a silent panel. It can mean the difference between a "heh-heh" punchline and a "HA-HA-HA!" punchline.

For some good examples of great timing, and some other examples of lousy timing, read through the Mythocorp archives and try to figure out which is which! It'll be fun, like a game!

Anyway, yeah, that "Gulp" was a sidesplitter.
