Feeling: Itchy from my haircut earlier today, a little sleepy, missing my Kate.
Wanting: Kaaaaaate! Also a beer.

Wearing: Plain blue shirt, denim shorts. The day before laundry day is always amusing... today, it involved going outdoors in 30-degree weather wearing shorts. Fun, fun, fun.
Hearing: Weezer, "The Good Life" -- an acoustic live recording.
Eating: Nothing.
Drinking: Soda.
Wishing: I knew how to go about applying to graduate school.
Doing: Trying to figure out what's up with my scanner -- I think I've got it.
Feeling: Anxious -- I wanna go back, I wanna go back (to posting Forsooth). Lame, for having said that.
Wanting: To understand love poetry. Love has always confused me enough -- now people are writing poetry about it? (Well, yeah, and they have been for hundreds of years...) I mean, poetry about love is to incomprehensibility (19 letters, that's some quality long word) as ALF returning in pog form is to irrelevant stupidity... the original wasn't so good, and this new addition merely makes it worse. Or something. Maybe if I fell in love, I could understand the stuff... but people in love seem to have brains compounded of regular brain stuff and oatmeal. Oatmeal with raisins. Only not as tasty, presumably. So that's a sacrifice I am unwilling to make. But love poetry... love poetry... Shakespeare wrote the stuff, dammit, Shakespeare! So there must be something to it... what?

Disclaimer: I have written love poetry. It was very fictional, and very bad. Enough of that.

Wanting: to not have to go to maryland tomorrow. the college i'm looking at is having an openhouse and my dad jumped on the opportinity to take me to it. god bless the man, he has no idea what to do to help an artist get into college but the little he can do he does with zeal.

Hearing: Nothing. Just listened to the final version of Weezer's new album; I approve heartily.

Wishing: There were more bands out there releasing quality music, and my scanner worked.
Doing: Pondering sleep. Continuing to stretch the boundaries of the de-lurking thread, both by writing massive paragraphs and such, and by not being a lurker.
Feeling: triumphant -- in this week, I've been named treasurer of the BU Literary Society and scored a 770 on the practice version of the English Lit GRE. If only I could prove as irresistible to women as I will undoubtedly be to the nation's grad schools.
Wanting: More eventful weeks like this one -- I honestly don't know what I'll do to top this past week, though. Maybe if I were to write an essay that was publishable in a journal, or a poem that was publishable in a literary magazine of some sort, or a story publishable... somewhere. Or I could fall in love, but that would be both horribly hackneyed and likely to end in rejection and crushing humiliation. (Hey, that's eventful!) Or I could learn Latin, making the grad schools pursue me even more --
Hm, yeah, I'd better get to writing those poems -- they seem like my best bet.
