Burke

Today's (3/7) was beyond mere words. How do you come up with these gems?

Proof that one need not *understand* the Grimbles to *LOVE* the Grimbles.

I told my wife that comic as a joke, the words alone cracked her up...

You've just done a bangup job with the Grimbles -- especially the consistency of the quality over the run.

I liked this one, too.

It was well-done and funny, and I could feel superior to the average Joe who wouldn't get it (and who was reading "Garfield" at the time anyhow).

Well I must say that I agree and will certainly be voting for Burke at the up and coming new messiah elections down on cloud #7.

I particularly like the arm hanging from the over-head. This is very realistic as I was about to post with a comment that you could not fit a WHOLE person into one of those compartments. But of course Burke had NOT tried to do so, He had cunningly left the single arm out. Such attention to detail has of late become a recurring trait of Burke, one which I feel has made him a much better Comic writing person and much less of a c**t.

I am eternally indebted to Mr Moses for all my keeping me on my toes as regards the correct spatial requirements needed for fitting one object in to another; a subject on which he is particularly knowledgable, having been the first person to insert his entire head up his own rectum.

Beyond this considerable accomplishment, he is a fine gentleman, conversant in all the scientific and aesthetic arts, holder of two trophies for the Annual Swindon Invitational and an inspiration to us all.

So tell me Moses, or may I call you "Mo"- how are things up there in the Great Beyond (twinned with Suffolk)?

(By the way- it's entirely possible to fit not only one, but two persons horizontally into an overhead luggage compartment, as I have demonstrated on many occasions when travelling with your dear lady wife.)
