You can't be both feared and loved. Worshipped and feared or worshipped and loved, yes but not loved and feared.

As for the home-zoo I've gotten quite used to my brother's place as the norm for such: 3 sons, 1 daughter, 3 cats, 1 dog, 4 fish, 2 snakes, 1 turtle and an opposum family that came with the house (stow-aways in the attic). I've joked with him that he should charge admission for all the kids that come over to his 'petting zoo'.

In the interest of not creating another unsightly thread I too wish to announce my n00bee-ness. I enjoy the comic for it's unique humor, and have been reading it for some time.

I just have one question. Can someone direct me to the pie?

Actually, I think thats Brain on the other end. He had been muttering about his trademark line being used to often...

As for new people coming in recently, I can't explain it. I've been posting the ES website in any forum where people have been asking about comics but I've yet to see any of them there come here.

Color me confused. :???:

Thanks for the Pi.

Questions? What? I didn't expect a kind of Spanish inquisition. Well, to avoid the fear surprise, ruthless efficiency, and fanatical devotion to the pope I'll give it a go.

>Do you like Element's Song?
I joined the forum, didn't I?

>When did you first discover Zina's comic?
whenever Belfry put it up on the list.

>Have you had lunch yet?
Does a pound of gummy bears/worms count?

>Have you taken 'the Test'?
Just did. Here's the results:
1 Ronnie
2 Liza
3 Max
4 Jance
5 Ryner

>Does the Twinkie Farm realize you are missing?
I'm neither a twinkie nor have I ever lived on a farm (despite living in Idaho for the past ~15 years).

>What flavor of ice cream do you think Haslen is eating?
I think it's raspberry chocolate delight.

>Are you of any relation to Elemental?
No.

>How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
A wood chucking woodchuck chucks wood at a rate defined by the first order separable differential equation

dw/dt = 1 - exp(-M * t)
where M is the mass of the woodchuck.

this yields a general result of:

w = t + 1/M * exp(-M * t) + K
Assuming at time = 0 no wood has been chucked this particular result is achieved:

w = t + 1/M * exp(-M * t) - 1/M

More than you wanted to know?

>If you had anything to say to Zina what would it be?
Keep up the good work, but don't burn yourself out.

Also in the interest of not occupying a new topic...
I'm new to this board but not so much so to the planet.
I just got done reading the archives and now I am hooked. Thought I'd poke my head in and say hi to everyone. "Hi!"

Hi TOS and welcome to the Elemental Warriors forum.

Since you didn't have any questions for us let me ask a few about you. Do you like Element's Song? When did you first discover Zina's comic? Have you had lunch yet? Have you taken 'the Test'? Does the Twinkie Farm realize you are missing? What flavor of ice cream do you think Haslen is eating? Are you of any relation to Elemental? How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood? If you had anything to say to Zina what would it be? zina_cat@hotmail.com

BTB what brings you from the other forum (I thought your sig looked familiar).

Woah... first, thanks for the welcome... Hmm lesee here...

Well Andrick, actually I tripped over Element's Song from the link you left behind in your profile from another forum.

The comic rocks too by the way! I liked it enough to burn through the archives in two evenings over a modem!

As far as lunch went, it was nice, and I was eating it just about the same time you were writing that post.

The test produced the following results...
# 1 Ronnie
# 2 Liza
# 3 Max
# 4 Jance
# 5 Ryner
For what it is worth, I am not very tall, but not QUITE that short... (Everyone at work says I don't look 28 though.)

Haslen WAS eating a double cone of chocolate and strawberry by the way, he just happened to have finished the chocolate portion before we discovered him. Mmmmmmmm... Ice Cream......

Sure! I could be related to any one of the Elementals! I am adopted after all! I would have to be an older cousin though, or if he/she was a sibling, I would imagine it was a different father... not enough fur here!

A Woodchuck would chuck all the wood a Woodchuck could chuck if it did not Up-Chuck first. ( )

Since Zina just posted to the forum to welcome me, thanks by the way, I'll say the following...
Your comic rocks! Element's Song made it on to my daily read list after only a few strips. There are not that many forums that I post to despite my seeming addiction to online comics, but I enjoyed the comic enough to want to hop in here and meet the others in the forum.

To answer the what brought me to this forum thing... I figured if I was going to be lurking about anyway, might as well say hi! That and I am sure someone would have noticed me anyway... I can't do the ZRRPey "now I'm here, now I'm not" thing that Haslen does. Last time I tried I ended up stuck in the door of a phone booth!

(edit: Whoops...I had incorrectly spelled "Haslen" and I wouldn't want him to give me a Blue Fire Blast now, would I?)
