I already died, because my job is so boring that it makes the daily routine of your average tree look like the movie Speed. When the message boards are busy like they were yesterday, I'm happier than the American hostages were when they were released from Iran back in the 80s. But when they're slow like today, I'm more frustrated than a nymphomaniac in a convent. And believe me, I'm married, so I know what it's like to go without sex. Sometimes the only way I can remember I've ever had sex at all is because there are 2 little kids running around the house that look like me. I always know when I'm about to get to have sex again though, when I see the 17-year cicadae burrowing out of their hibernation.
[This message has been edited by Lee Herold (edited 10-04-2000).]

Your spelling of cicadas is the single most
affected thing I have *ever* seen.
------------------

Gah! My power was out for half a million hours! I'm going to find out who's resposible for the power at Georgia Tech, kill them, and throw the bodies into the fountain in front of the student center.

I hate this thread more than ten bajillion sarcasm threads. I mean, it's stupider than George W. Bush.

I read this thread more times than Lee Herold has asked me to marry him.
Case
(Trust me. It's a HUGE exaggeration.)
------------------

I've been to Diabolica about 3.5 million
times today, hoping that it would update.
I'm going to kill myself if it doesn't update
today.
------------------

Changing tack from sarcasm to exaggeration is the single hardest thing I've ever done. I've had to retype this post 7 thousand times, because I keep screwing it up.
------------------

If Case Yorke doesn't marry me I'm going to go on a murderous rampage through the United States and Canada. I do believe male-male marriages between American and Canadian citizens have become legalized through an obscure, yet fortuitous loophole in the NAFTA agreement, so you can't use that excuse any more, you Great White Hunk.
My life will cease to have all meaning if Diabolica doesn't update today.
------------------

Well, H. Ross Perot always did caracterize the NAFTA agreement by referring to "that big sucking sound."
--Brad
Wher IS Perot this year?? It's awfully close to the election and we haven't seen that magnificent s.o.b. ANYWHERE! I need my Crazy Texan Fix!! What will I do without a dose of Crazy Tex-- oh, sorry, forgot all about Dubya for a second there.
Nevermind.
------------------

Lee's lack of exaggeration was abolutely,
inforgiveably, capitally wrong.
------------------

Tirdun, your trying to take the credit for the novel idea of using sarcasm and exageration makes me feel as though you're a special, special person. More special than a million white crash helmets.

BoxJam, you are obviously as blind as an eyeless bat at the North Pole in winter at midnight in a subterranean cave carved through black ice, to the subtle nuances of "MINIMALIST EXAGGERATION". My lack of exagerration in my previous post was itself an exaggeration of the inability of the unwashed masses to participate in our little game here, which is frankly the most fun I've ever had.

------------------

I find it absolutely infuriating that Lee is whining about Diabolica not updating when Chopping Block seems to update sometime around noon EST.
And since this is an exaggeration thread, my Tool is 2 feet long, my wife no longer has feeling below her belly-button and my home video tapes sell on e-bay for 50 bucks a copy.

Oh, I love this thread and I'm going to post to it a million times!
Stupid exaggeration. Besides, everybody in the whole wide world knows how to spell 'saarchasm' (That's the ravine that the river Saar flows into in the world-renowned Saarland Falls...)
I'm getting silly. I'm stopping now and never ever going to come back in a million years.
