Aah, I don't think any of the new systems actually suck. It's just that each one of them only has one or two games that appeal to me. And I don't buy a system unless it has around five games or so I figure are worth playing.

Resident Evil, the only other series I play besides FF...

RE2 was mah fav. But I liked RE1. I always liked to read that guys diary where he slowly turns into a zombie.

I'm so bitter! I'm trying to decide what nextgen system to get and I'm a FF junkie so I have to have the PS2 (plus it has MGS2 which is a big bonus). But I also adore Star Wars and Resident Evil. ARGH!!!

Guess I'm going to be spending a LOT of money this year....*sniff* (even though I really shouldn't considering I just moved into an apartment without roommates to split the rent with).

Please. You can beat Resident Evil in one weekend. Just rent the crapcube for five days over a holiday, invite a friend over, get plenty of caffiene and shut all the shades. You'll be set.

Ooh! And while you're at it, rent Super Smash Brothers:Melee. A very good party game that gets old really fast.

Really fast? Even after you get all the secret characters, you can still get loads of new stages! It also inspires me to do some drawings!

Smash Brothers was my (initial) reason for getting the Gamecube, and now my brothers lost it. AAAARRRRRGGGGGG!

Oh well, I still have Tony Hawk and Pikmin.

You know what game I'm waiting for?
PHANTASY STAR ONLINE!

This system, I must admit, is is dire need of some good RPGs.

Nintendo made a big mistake when they sold the rights to Final Fantasy. Oh well. All the more money for Sony, right?

Gamecube looks better than the Suck-Box. It's all about the games, baby. And X-Box has a very limited, somewhat crappy looking library of them. But then, Gamecube has an even more limited library. I guess it's all about who can release the most decent games in the years to come. Also, the porting of Sonic wouldn't be too bad if the game didn't look so sucky in the first place (I played it for a few minutes at Best Buy, or someplace like that, and I hated it)
bring back the 2D games, foo!

Sonic Adventure 2 is an awesome game, but the original is better, I think.

Don't speak crap about Sonic! Even though I played it, Sonic CAN'T be crap. Although I liked part three best. If you combine it with Knuckles you can get control of awesome Hyper Sonic. He was never seen since.

No, no, you got me wrong, I wasn't dissin' on sonic, just sonic adventure (2). I just hate it so much. Sonic should stay 2D. (Even though I played it for a few minutes, how the hell would you spin dash?! Down would make you go backwards, right? And they should've included the Super Peel Out in more games, that move was the shit.)

You press the B button to spin dash...I actually found Sonic to convert well into 3D (let's all just pretend 3-D Blast didn't exist), though 2D will always be better. Anyway, I'm just old-school.

TO THE EXTREEEEEEEEME!

Well, I didn't actually play Sonic's 3D versions, but if you guys say that the 2D ver's better, then I'll believe it.

Well I did play 3D blast, but let's not talk about that.

I especially liked those bonus stages and the hunt for the mystical Chaos Emeralds.

The Sega CD Sonic (titled "Sonic CD", original) was my personal fav. Only thing I hated about it was that there was no Super Sonic. And you couldn't lock on with S&K and play the game as knux. that would've been sweet.

Anyone know where I can d/l an *illicit* copy of the Sonic Anime? Preferrably DivX codec'd.
