umm... yep, that's fan service (not that I, as a fan, am upset by it) but it had to be said. Man, that was obvious.

Oh, and Josh you should have said something... I just did a fanart piece for NGTI's 200th comic... so give me a week or two, I'll hook you up.

Josh, I would, as the ghetto fools say, hook you up, but I am far too lazy to do so. Good comic though. the end.

And I don't think it can really be fanservice because I'm not doing it for the fans, I'm not doing it to raise any popularity. I just did it cause I asked Dave-o what the hell I should do. He said, "Have everyone strp. Including Me! I don't know what I look like naked."

Frightened by that, I settled for just Lana.

boy ain't that the truth.

hey, congrats, man. 200 strips, it seems like only yesterday there were just 199.

ah sure, what the hell. I got time, I'll make you a guest strip too.

by the by, in case you're wondering why every post i've made today has a plug for my new comic strip pickle jar, tomorrow is the big debut and i'm adveritizing in the least subtle way imaginable

please ignore them and move on.

i don't want fanart or guest strips or whatever..

i find it interesting that two people congratulated me on reaching 200 strips.

Joe and another person, only after stating something.

Geez... no wonder you haven't updated your fan art section in over 4 months! Who'd want to do any for a grump like you!

Too bad... I had some great preliminary sketches of Sal as a UPS delivery man...I guess I'll just throw them out.

I'm no grump, god forbid I try and get into a conversation though, hmm?

I haven't updated my fanart section in the past few months because I've been busy. It's work enough to get three comics a week.

Right, well then you just keep churning out 3 strips a week and I'll give you no fan art to slow you down.

After all, if you're so stressed out with the three a week system the worst thing that you could do is let someone else do a guest strip for you and take a day off...

I'm allowed to disagree with you. Just because I'm the cartoonist doesn't mean my word is final.

But on a rare ocassion, there seems to be that one guy who has to go into this big attitude trying to prove something.

Cool your jets.

<afterburners disengaged>

look, sorry. I just didn't expect that you would turn down the opportunity to get some celebratory fanart. whatever

No, you misunderstood. I don't want fanart or whatnot because I made 200 strips. I'd prefer people to do it just because they want to.

What I want because I made 200 strips, is a congrats, or something.

i wanted to, i was just waiting for some sort of occasion.

i can't just go giving out fanart left and right now, can i? well, i suppose i could, but that would make it less special.

200 strips is a big deal. situation: nowhere never even made it to 75.

pickle jar (which is debuting tomorrow), on the other hand, is almost at 1.

Especially in color, I bet. I appreciate all the work you must do to keep the comic up-dated. Congrats on reaching 200! I've been reading from about the beginning of it and I've enjoyed the whole storyline. I was wondering, did you think you were going to get this far with it?
