Now there's a semi-obscure Chow Yun-Fat quote

I just started reading after the link from Poe, and liked the comic enough to keep paging back to the beginning. In other words, good job so far

You sir must be a drunkard and a liar! This comic is nothing more than a sham and front for life style of loose morals and debauchery! Wait, I think of Pokey. <s>HOORAY!</s>

Thanks, it's good to get feedback from someone who isn't already a friend.

"Do you like my web comic?" is right up there with "Do these pants make me look fat?"

I think the quote was "you dont like my flied rice?!?" - ABT2, the only good scene from that movie.

I thought the extended battle sequence at the end was pretty cool, right up there with the one in The Killer. The rest (besides the rice) was a little weak though.

I'd have to disagree with the end sequence.. seeing tons and tons of people getting shot up like a wood chopper was kinda lame.

It didn't compare to the really slick action in the Kowloon public housing high rises in Time & Tide.

Sus: C'mon, what about when CYF grabs the SWORD?? And the four of them walking to the house in black suits and skinny ties, that scene stuck in my mind, as well as certain other directors...

Rookie: Looks like it, I just wish the link was a bit later. Friday I have a strip that's back to the stuff I usually do which would probably be more palatable to the E.N. crowd.

I just rented that last week -- great sequence, reminiscent of Leon (or vice versa? ) and a little bit of Mean Guns (which was cheesy, but fun watching Lambert and the rest).

Krow: the conversation was pretty much like this

Rookie> Hey poe, wanna pimp my friends comic?
Poe> I dunno
Rookie> just check it out krakow.keenspace.com
Poe> OMG FUNNY JOKE ABOUT SCHOOLGIRLS, GUNNA LINK RIGHT NOW
Rookie> I really should ask Krow first before you put up the link, but the man is desperate for readership anyways

except maybe no caps on the part of poe.

i guess that doesn't explain anything at all though
