Am I the only who hears him speak in a very even, low-pitched timbre? Sort of like Agent Smith from The Matrix, if you've seen it. Just something about the cadence and his choice of words brings that to mind.

You are not alone, although I've been giving him a bit of a Jeremy Irons-esque accent as well. He strikes me as the sort who would affect one to go with the outfit.<P><P>------------------

I am Esurio. My voice is my own.

Oh great.... I wasn't exactly sure what voice Esurio would have, but after Mahtar's comparison, even I'm rereading his lines in the Agent Smith voice.<P>"Mr. Matthews..." heh...<P>------------------

Well, I don't hear him saying it like "Misssster Matthews" exactly <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/smile.gif"> , but I would figure it for having the general evenness about it.

*scratches head*<P>i guess this is the natural byproduct of not having owned a TV or set foot inside a movie theatre more than once in 8 years....i haven't a clue who all these people are you're talking about.<P>so does this mean that Esurio has a deep, throaty, bass voice; a high, reedy nasal voice; or an even tenor timbre with a cultivated accent? in my mind anyway, it's the latter of the three.<P>------------------

Because I just realized that THAT was the voice I was actually thinking of, not David Warner. That's my answer and I'm sticking to it:<P>Mr. Freeze.<P><P>------------------

Tarbaby, Krank, that's exactly it. He sounds very cultured, I think, very much a "Welcome to Masterpiece Theatre" kind of thing, just a little deeper and more even.

He needs to sound like Harpo Marx...
Only with a more subtle communist message and a Morse Code horn.
You all agree with me, right?
Right?

Well, guys, I had a really nice voice for Esurio, and then you had to spoil it all...<P>Seriously, I do no longer remember what I heared him like before... Now he sounds just like Agent Smith with a tint of Jeremy Irons...<P>He sure sounds like he's cultivated...

...and Glick, why don't you try sounding a bit more like Harpo, eh?<p>[This message has been edited by krank (edited 02-05-2002).]

Personally, I was alternating between two different voices. James Earl Jones and Leonard Cohen. I think LC's voice is better then JEJ's but I like JEJ's perfect enunciation.
