Quest for Glory 4??!

I love that game! Although my favorite character was always Boris the gatekeeper. Very nice Vincent Price imitation there. And, being male, I couldn't complain about the rusalka either.
Oh, yeah, nice comic so far, too! Keep it coming!
------------------

Thanx a ton for the feedback!!
I'm a huge QFG fan, I love the games,
but #4 is my absolute favorite.

Whoa, whoa, hold up there! They're making a 6th QfG? Why doesn't anyone ever tell me anything? What's the scoop? Where's this one set?
Umm, also, in Shadows of Darkness, I don'r suppose you know how to break into the cabinet in the inn and swipe the doll, do ya?
------------------

Well, legally it isn't the 6th in the QfG games-- We're making our own game, set in our own universe, with our own hero.
And we may even sell it in stores one day (heh, I doubt it, tho...).
But the game play's still qfg-ish (or so I'm told. My computer's too crapy to play the demos. ) and the art's qfg4-ish too, tho it varies, considering there's like 30 peeps working in art. (Music's COMPLETELY done!! ::sniff:: I'm so proud!)
Check the site out! (They need more peeps in plot...)
Whatja playing as?
(btw, alot of spoilers below... beware...)

Steal the doll... Hmm, I don't think it's possible to steal the doll...
Domovoi's probably gaurding it magically.
But to get the doll from Domovoi, stay up late, then go into the main room of the Inn after everyone's asleep, Domovoi should be sitting on the fire place mantel. Talk to him (gain lots of points! Evil Glee!) about everything. Domovoi will only help you if you help him first. So if you've got the rehidration fluid or whatever from Dr. Cranium, go into the Monastery (to safely do it, press the sign of the Dark One onto the main entrance. to do it unsafely, which you shouldn't do unless you're a theif or a mage, levitate or climb to the window nearest the adventure's guild to get in. )
In the Monastery there's a weird glass case to the left of your screen, click "look" on it. Click "hand" on it. Click the jar of Dr. C's rehidration stuff on the dried Domovoi. Ta Da! Instant Domovoi! After yapping with him, feed garlic to the squid-dude above the fire place to the right of your screen, then pull on the fire-poker thingy next to the fire place, I think your character should automatically walk down into the basement.
I'll let you play around yourself down there, just save before you touch anything. Heh heh. What? It's fun getting killed down there, great animations!
Hope that helped!
And if you need anymore help, just ask, I've all but finished the game.
(Damn that game bug, won't let me kill Ad Advis...)

Cool! Actually, what I want to do is get the little vampire girl to remember her parents and her old life at the inn. I assumed that the best way to do that was to filch the doll from the cabinet in the main room of the inn, but I've never been able to figure out how. If I look at the cabinet there, it mentions that there's a doll in it, so I figured, hey, that's got to be it. Guess not, though. I like it when you get smashed in the book down in the basement.
I usually play as a magic user of the name Ludwig Schlangenstein Gorgonzola. Nice and mediaval!
------------------

Have you touched the statue yet??
(heh heh)
Ah yes, Tanya, the poor lil' vamppire-girl.
Well, to rescue Tany, ya gotta have the ritual of release from the Faeries, and to get the ritual you have to have a high mana level, not sure how high, but I'm guessing aroung 250 to 300. So you gotta hang around outside Erana's garden until they come and tempt you with a vision of Erana's staff.
After you get the spell, and the doll from Domovoi, you can tell Tanya everything, and you'll automatically go from Tanya's room to the Staff of Erana. No game play on your part needed!
Cool, I can never think up a good name for him, so I always end up naming him either Devon (which I hear Lori and Cori Cole suggested) or Mulder... dunno why Mulder, but I just do. :P

Yeah, I hate when that happens-
I kept on letting Davy get burnt at the stake until I found out that Igor was in the cemetary... luckily the whole "Burn the Gypsy" scene "froze" at "night" so "I" could slip "out" of "town" and "save" Igor...
Yeah, Mulder as in X-Files. Argh, Last season was messed up. :/
BTW, I see that you're also on the would-be "Hallowkeen" list. ::evil grin::
...Um, question... are we supposed to be working on the Halloween strips NOW?
BTW2- I JUST finished going through the Fantastical Bestiary's archives, and you're in my links page. Just thought I'd tell you. You've got an AWESOME comic!

About Hallokeen...I have no idea what's going on with that. My understanding was that we really didn't have to do anything beyond putting our names on the list. If you feel like doinng anything beyond that, it's up to your discretion, I think. I guess we just send in our halloween strips and drawings whenever they're finished. Drew a quick sketch myself but nothing great, and I certainly haven't sent anything in yet.
Thanks for the kind words and the link! I'll be sure to return the favor, hopefully that'll get you a little extra traffic. I know it's not easy being new around here. That damn "Living in Greytown" steals all the readers, grrr
------------------

LIGT's not a bad strip. Not my absolute favorite but it's worth a gander or two, I'll give it that.
As for being a newbie, yeah, it's no cake walk. If you want feedback, you pretty much have to get out there and stay in people's faces. There're just so many comics on Keenspace that just being good is no guarantee of recognition. Send out some fanart, participate in crossovers and events, and stay active on the message boards. Just keep plugging away and don't let it get to ya and you'll eventually pull through.
------------------

Well, then I guess I'd better get started on my Hallowkeen strips, cause if I just let my name and characters sit on the list, they won't appear in any strips period. :P
Man, being a newbie stinks, everyone ignores you because they're too close-minded to think that your new comic might be any good and ignores your posts because they're sure that you'll just spew something stupid all over the place. :P
Thanx. I haven't even gone to the comic's page yet, but I see the "LIGT" banners everywhere. :P I do have it saved in my "to read" Bookmarks folder, tho'.

yeah, thanx...
I've been meaning to do some fanart sometime...
Hmm. Wish I had a scanner. Or a zip disk, then I wouldn't have to convert my pics into jpgs everytime I haul um from one computer to another...
Never mind. :P
