uhmmm would the book "The Island of Dr Moreau" be considered a fantasy or fiction?

Fantasy is just a specialized form of fiction really, and I've always thought of the Island of Dr M as more of a Sci Fi book than a fantasy one <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/smile.gif">

Well you have to admit, a social outcast is a prime target for anything funny. Although I've never read the books, I am rather familiar with the whole concept of the drow ranger <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/smile.gif">

A drow ranger that is completely over classed for his skills and is supposed to be able to take on just about anyone and win. And has twin enchanted scimitars, a brutish hammer wielding barbarian sidekick, a dwarf comrade, a human girl that is more brawn than beauty (raised by dwarves) and his magical panther that arises out of an onyx statue. <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/smile.gif"> I think that would be neat. <P>Although I like Drizzt, don't get me wrong! <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/wink.gif"><P>------------------
