crossover whio and rocr?

Am I mistaken or is Jake the Gnome on the ship in the september 11 strip? The small guy with the hat telling the boatswain it might be a trick? Or are you so used to drawing rogues characters it slipt in ; )

Not only that, but characters from WHIO have appeared in the background in ROCR. I do get confused sometimes...------------------
