thank you. i was totally in the dark on what was up this weekend. in all those posts i was very careful to click the email notification of a response. if you look back, i did respond to ryan j smiths posts. he posted a complaint, but was actually courteous enough to post a retraction or apology of some sort. i posted a response in turn. unfortunately, those were the last emails i got on the topic. i got a response from erin on the comicollage board. i actually had a chance to stop and read a couple of months worth of the strip, so i felt free to comment on it directly. i found it very entertaining. then sudddenly i stopped getting any email. i still dont know what caused it to go down, especially at this most critical of times. today its back up, with 31 responses from keenspace. the only other feedback ive gotten has been the (mostly) name-calling session thread right here on this board and the thread on the help board, which also contains a number of personal jabs. i dont know whats in those 31 responses, but its a can of worms i dont want to open again. i want to put this behind me, whatever it takes. so, basically, im not going to look at them for a looooong while, when i can come back to them more objectively. im not a snob, im not ignoring anyone, i just dont want to subject myself to more insults. i responded to calliopes well thought out critique of my actions with sincerest apologies and a total cessation of the offending behavior. i wanted to post a defense of myself on the help board, but i didnt believe that anything coming from me would be accepted. i really want to thank you for making me feel okay about posting again, i now have a sense that not EVERYONE hates me. if anyone wants to talk to me, please post here or email me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org
. please chill with the insults and name-calling, i more than got the message. im going to stay away from the other boards for a while, but ill respond to any invitation to come to them via the above two methods.
peace out.. ill be scoping out your two recommendations tonight... in fact, j files was already on my list of things to look at!
i wonder why?<P>j
