hmmm... wrong? no, nothing wrong with that.
If there was somthing wrong with furry art and comics then Disney and Bluth studios would be rather short of fans.
same goes for Warner Brothers.
anthropomorphic animals have ALWAYS been a popular format for story telling. It's not just kid stuff...
hell, we see humanized animals in TV commercials! so what would be wrong with comics?
I could go on about how every single ancient tribe/religion/etc. used animalized human characters, but it suffices to say that "furrys" have been, and will always be, a part of natural human interest.
if your friends don't get/like this viewpoint, tell them to shove it.

Many people associate "furry" with less-than-moral-things-to-do-in-public and other evils of human society.
Perhaps they're part of this group. Either you tell them what "furry" means to you, or you can just laugh them off.
Hope this helps.

It's ridiculous to say it would be wrong to like furry art. I think the two most used arguments why it's bad by people that don't know it better are a) it's too childish (Disney) and b) it's something for perverts (I'm sure everyone has seen somewhen coincindentaly some very much adult rated furry art).
When being accused of a), then show this person something like Jack (Warning, majorly depressing) and when accused of b), then show this person Yerf (best art you can find).
And besides, not all people have to like the same things. When your friends don't like the things you do, then simply don't bother each other with trying to convince the other person of the opposite (that will most likely never be successful). Simply spent your time doing something else you both like.
