I had a very similar experience with the C64 Blade Runner game - I worship that film. And the PC game. But having found the game, and an emulator, I was confronted with... Well, it suffices to say that it was in four colours.
------------------
You smug-faced crowds with kindling eye
Who cheer when soldier lads march by,
Sneak home and pray you'll never know
The hell where youth and laughter go.

OK, this is about the second C64 game review...
Firstly, too short. You should really ask people around C64 boards and the like, and actually finish the games, as I'm sure hat more and more amusing things start to pop up once you've actually passed something.
And secondly, the weapon marked with a question mark is, in fact, an eye-drop pipette.

After I read your first 2 reviews on horror-movie-C64-Roms, I decided to go look for some. I found an Evil Dead one which I haven't played, stupid C64 emulator wouldn't work on my computer. You can download it here: http://www.edgeemu.com/c64romse.shtml
You'll need to scroll down a bit to find "evil dead, the". No idea if it's any good, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was as.. er.. 'colorful' as the others.
