He did, and it hurt. I've recovered, though.

Great job, Josh! I think the latest comic really captures the essence of Ikuhara-san, right down to the fangs. I laughed until it hurt.

He reminds me of some cannibalistic version of Willy Wonka.

No permanent puncture wounds in the skull? Well, that's good to hear. *nods*
------------------

For being the director of my favorite series, a vibrant, pink orgy of color and weirdness, he was a scary, scary man...

Oh hey..question about the Utena series itself...obviously not all of the series has been released in English..are they going to release more or am I going to have to wander to the ends of the earth to see the rest of the story?

Currently, Central Park Media is having liscensing troubles with the holders of the rights of the series. CPM says they paid for it already, and the other guys want more money. I wouldn't count on seeing season two for at least two more years. You can still find season three, fansubbed, at Kodocha Anime, though season two has been pulled from distro lists. Happy hunting.

http://www.animemetropolis.com/kodocha/main.html
Season three kicks much ass. There really wasn't much from season two that you should know, except that Akio is an asshole who sleeps with his sister, and that Professor Nemuro (or Mikage) is cool, even though you'll never see him again.

I have yet to see Utena... *sighs*
It's probably going to be awhile too considering my parents and there whole "If you don't raise all your grades you won't get any more anime until your next report," thing they have going on...
I'm fearing my report card now... I've let most of my grades slip at least a full letter grade >< aww shit...
I'm getting really offtopic O_o
urm...

Don't let that get you too down. Grades aren't everything when you step out into the real world. I never did understand what I was supposed to get out of required subjects that I had no interest in...
How old are you, again? The only way I afford my anime habit is my job, so you may want to look into getting one of those. Careful, don't end up doing anything that you'll hate every day, such as fast food. It's no good if your first job is disheartening enough to turn you off from looking for future employment. My parents stopped letting me mooch off of them years ago, so enjoy what you have while it lasts. ^^*
Said it before, and I'll say it again, Utena is my absolute favorite series. It drew me in with it's fantastic, developed characters, vibrant colors, images, and music, and all-around weirdness. It's probably not for everybody, but it sure is for me, and that's what counts, right? Maybe download a few episodes first, but I at least encourage every anime fan out there to give it a try.

Finding money to buy anime is hard..I've probably spent over $500 on anime..dang. Mostly with allowence money. Didn't get a job until this past summer and that was in....fast food. -_- Burger King..but luckily this one guy told me I'd want to quit after my first day, so I made it a point not to hate my job. >D~
My roommate Molly was the one who picked up Utena at a video rentals. I wasn't interested in it at first, but after watching for a while, it really got interesting. Love the curry episode. XD XD And I don't know why I never made the connection before that Rachel Lillis voiced Utena. O_o I love following voice actors/actresses! But that's another topic all together. *runs*

Same here, I thought Utena was really strange at first. But the more I saw, the more I enjoyed it. Now it's just an obsession that won't go away! Wheehee!
