I wouldn't mind doing a crossover...

I was actually toying with the idea of doing a crossover with my comic this morning. On the one hand, it'd be cool and fun to do, but on the other hand, my comic is still very new, I'm still getting to know my characters, and I just started a new story arc which will define where the comic is going for the next while. I'm not even confident enough to pimp it out at Keenvention, for crying out loud.
Erm. In a nutshell, I s'pose I'm saying "I would be interested, but it's probably a little premature for me."
------------------

A crossover would be cool with me too. though it wouldn't be for about a month or so, I've got scripts already written for feb and thru some of march. I do have some ideas for a crossover with your characters already milling about in my head, I can e-mail them to you if you're interested (so as not to spoil the actual comics later, of course...)
nice comic today too. kinda reminds me of road waffles, except no one is dead in your comic. it also reminds me a little of funny farm, which has its own bank-robbery hostage-situation going on.
------------------

Well, I was thinking of starting my strip off with a crossover, but with my skills, everyone's going to look like scribbles. I need one of those thingies you write on and it goes to the computer, whatever they're called.
Or an Etch-a-sketch. =P
------------------

I remember those days like they were yesterday. I had no money and tons of time. I thought I'd make an online comic, so I started. Then I got a job. Now I have some money and no time to do an online comic, and yet somehow I manage to squeeze one out every day.
hm. drawing tablets... I don't know if I could ever draw with one of those. I draw using the hardest pencil the art supply store sells, which leaves a really light line on the paper. If the line is in the wrong place, I just draw another one next to it, and continue till it looks right (or just better, even if not right). When the whole panel is finally drawn, I then ink over the right lines, and erase everything else. With a drawing tablet, I think I'd have to draw everything right the first time. I don't think I could do that.
But you can easily find paint shop pro 6.0 or something on the net, I think that might be a better alternative to MSPaint. or try photoshop 5.x with all its incomprehensible bells and whistles and non-user-friendly interface.
JB
------------------

I feel like I've ordered something by mail. =P
Anyways, all my drawing is done with a mouse in MS Paint. Needless to say, it's horrible. That's why I need either a scanner or one of those drawing tablets. Then I could do a decent strip.
I hate being broke. No money sucks.
[added]
Anyways, the first while of the strip is going to be the Fork Army. After that, it's a sewer monster. My strip will be the opposite of reality.

You probably would have no problem with a tablet. Just hook it up to your computer, and draw. It's that simple!
------------------
