Aloha fellow comickers! I am here to soak in the warm glow of other webcomickers and the success and wisdom that radiates from them collectively, and stuff.

Right now I'm doing a webcomic called BOHICA Blues which reflects on my experiences in the Iraq War (but in a funny, family-friendly way; huh) but eventually I would like to do other projects, including a sci-fi action-adventure piece and a 1920's alt-history piece. But that's for the future. For now, I am concentrating on retelling the events of 2004-2005 Iraq with a US Army Reserve Combat Engineer Battalion.

Hello Comic Genesis World!
I had account here a long time ago (which I have lost access to) and am delighted to see that the place is still up and running--both for the sake of my new project (shiftingland.comicgenesis.com), and for the sake of general creativity on the web! Anyway, whatever you do, do *not* go see my account. I mean, seriously, the state the address is in, after me just having access to it for a few days is deplorable. Apparently I have completely forgotten to code html. I feel like I've invented new categories of errors. Is the text supposed to cover the scrollbar like that?

So now I understand I have to fuzzle Mcduffie? I'm a little nervous about that. Does it hurt?

Which is to say, hello everyone. I'm the Incredible Turnip. I'm a long-time doodler and intermittent comic-strip maker. I'm still working my way through the Help Center, so it's in a... a not good kind of a condition yet, but my comic is pseudomythical, a little thing about a bunch who don't quite show up next to dragons and griffons in the folklore and fairy tales... So, yeah... look forward to wandering around some more, drawing some comics, and asking questions that I'll look back on one day and wonder how I could possibly have been so ignorant of the intricacies of web-comicly whatnot.
