Tessellation

I used to doodle tessellations all the time, even before I knew about Escher, even before I knew that it was called tessellation. Then I learned about Escher, and then I learned that someone had made software geared towards kids that let you tessellate just about anything. It took the fun out of it. Now when I tessellate, it is more like an exercise to see how far I can go and keep my spacing and lines perfect before I mess up. Of course, I cheated on that one by using conveniently gridded engineering paper!
JB
------------------
