So I've been in Vegas for a few days with a half dozen friends, I fly out to my next destination on Saturday night.
So far I have:
- bought a pair of Superman Converse shoes
- spent a grand on a mic signed by Swifty
- fallen a couple of metres climbing at the Grand Canyon
- almost broke my neck on the New York New York rollercoaster
- ate a lot of awesome food
- learned never to ask for large at a US fast-food joint (our lg is your med)
- seen a ton of awesome sights (and a few crappy ones)
- done a lot of walking
- won a little cash
- done zero drawing/writing 'cause I've been going non-stop
will post some pics when I find wifi so I can send them from my ipod

More Vegas:
- saw all the cool night shows like the Bellagio Fountain and the volcano at the Mirage
- went up the Eiffle Tower at Paris Hotel
- I completely chickened out on the rides at Stratosphere (too fucking high)
- saw Cirque du Solei show on my last night
before flying out to Nashville
Well in my first couple of days in Nashville I've done more walking than I can remember.
But it's been good, I saw Music Row, Vanderbilt U, Hilsoboro Village, the Country Music Hall of Fame, went for a massive walk through Hendersonville (very pretty area).
I am loving the look of this city, lot's of stylish old architecture.
Oh and I saw a LOT of squirrels but they run too quick for me to get a good photo.
So far I've spent just a bit (lot) more than I planned but a lot of it is gonna be xmas presents.

Re: Scooby's Adventures in the USA
After four (and a bit) days in Orlando my USA vacation is nearing an end and I'm listening to Billy Connolly while I try and pack my bags (think jigsaw puzzle meets tetris).
In Orlando I've gone to Universal Studios and Disney.
- I loved the Harry Potter, Jurassic and Simpsons rides but ET bores me to tears.
- picked up my very own wizard wand
- got to check out a dress rehearsal of New Fantasyland at Disney
- picked up a sketch of the Beast
I'm sure I have more to say but I'm exhausted and have to pack for my 8am flight to LA so I can go home.
It's been fun.

Where are you from Scoob? Given the weak dollar, a lot of people - especially Canadians - like to come Stateside because everything's so cheap by comparison and just go to town.

...although, we call them "poms".
Limeys are British, not Australian!
Also, the Australian and American dollars have been at parity for quite some time now.
