Welp, nobody said anything about my latest redesigned logo, so I can only assume it passed muster. Just gotta add another couple of tweaks an' I should have the main page ready for final approval.

I've been... late on my last few updates. Trying to get things back on track. I'm still very happy with how things are doing. I think I may try to up the art a little next chapter.

Dammit! I left all my drawing stuff at work - EVERYTHING, from pencils, pens, paper, book... Lost a whole weekend's worth of production. :ick:

You haven't quite hit bottom till you're doing multiple fetish porn comics on the side.

At least you got to watch your team in the playoffs. :D

I'm planning on starting penciling my next project tonight. I'd like to get five or six pages done (at least) by December, and then launch in January with either a weekly or twice-a-month schedule.

That is true! Looks like we finally have a team that stands to go the distance (for which I'm quite pleased with). :)

Sounds ambitious! I tried going for a bimonthly schedule. It was murder! Good luck on yours. :)

I was making an underhanded jab at the last webcomic I reviewed. I gotta admit, though, Darlin’ It’s Betta Down Where It’s Wetta is a pretty clever name for a mermaid porn comic.

Thanks for the encouragement. I'll try to get it down to once-a-week if I can. Maybe my schedule can be what Mr. Bob used to do back in the day: "Updates every Thursday... except for when it doesn't."

I would've said that's how you know you've made it big on the Internet.

A tried and true formula for webcomic celebrity, if ever there was one.

I have mixed feelings about my current story arc. I've introduced several elements into it that are kind of hard to draw (four ninjas, two anime-style characters, and a big, intricate-looking monster), so that's makin' it difficult. I think I introduced too many subplots at the start of this storyline; I'm finally starting to get them drawn together, I think, but it's been a slog and I'm concerned the readers have noticed me struggling. And, between the terrible summer heat wave and my being bummed about being unemployed (although I'm starting a new job soon! Yay!) and of course the aforementioned hard-to-draw bits, I've been updating late in the evening a lot or even in the wee hours of the following day, which is murder on my readership numbers. Sigh.

Ah well. I'm looking forward to my next storyline and I have a better idea of what I want to do with it.

In the meantime, by all means, y'all can check it out if you want!
