Indiana isn't so bad. Well, with the exception of Gary, Indiana. And cornfields. Lots an' lots of cornfields...

Getting there with the new project. Loads left to do, but I felt the need to show some progress.
Bizarrely it looks bigger here than the original does. Not sure how that works.
Does robot kitty make a loud clank when he sits on your lap?

The name of the first episode is to be "Carpe Columbidae". I've just decided, and it's so cool I had to share it here and now, even though it'll still be ages before the episode is done (like when I'm not meant to be asleep because I'm on nights) and it makes complete sense.
And Peter, that's a really difficult question to answer in a world where no one has laps.

Working on character designs for a job.
Oddly enough, it's for another health related brochure. I keep getting dietary jobs for some reason.

Look for any vicious behavior, they might be sock vipers too! Or at least one sock viper and its shed skin.Mo wrote:Ooh, these remind me of a pair of socks I own.

He doesn't look black when he's not in colour. I know that sounds like a stupid thing to say but you can normally still tell. But unless your style lends itself to that it'll be hard to do without pandering to facial stereotypes and since racial stereotypes verge of racism you may as well leave him as he is, because he looks fine in colour. He does look like 2 different people but unless you're planning on showing him in colour and b&w then it's not an issue.IVstudios wrote:

Yeah, I see what you mean. That's semi-intentional though because this goes along with a play that is going to have different actors playing the parts each year. So the cast needs to be both diverse and racially ambiguous at the same time. There may end up being a need to "pallet-swap" the characters each year.robotthepirate wrote: He doesn't look black when he's not in colour. It's sort of a fool's errand since inevitably there will be a time where Deena (the mother) is played by someone of a different race than one of her children (Austin and Kayla). Hopefully the kids this play is for won't be able to make the connection that the characters' implied genetic predisposition to diabetes wouldn't apply to adopted children.

Re: Doodles 12: Just like clockwork.
Happy Labor Day, everyone (those who are Yank, that is)!
Well, I've spent the weekend working on my website, and I think I'm finally ready to run with it. Here's what I got:
http://www.crittersonline.org
I still need to add an RSS feed to the bottom of the main page, but this is pretty much it. So, what say you, kids? Am I more bettah yet?

They keep grinning at you and their eyes are looking at random directions.
