oh god don't look at the hands

Man I'm so rusty it's fucking depressing.

It's totally hit and miss at the moment.

I think he's hit, she's miss.

Heh, and I watched Ghost last night too.

I'm always hit and miss. Which reminds me, I'm suposed to be putting in some consistent time drawing to get some practise... Maybe tomorrow, or Tuesday...

She's miss what? He he

thing I would say that's off with her is her left side. The shoulder and the line for her back should be moved inwards. Since she's reaching across her body.

Reminds me of that old Robin Hitchcock song:

"My wife and my dead wife
Am I the only one who sees her?
MY wife and my dead wife
Doesn't anybody see her at all?
No, no, no, no, no, no, no"
"I've come to accept a lot of what's wrong with this world, and there's not much I can do about it." - Johnny "Rotten" Lydon

Yeah, her whole pose is a bit off, and the hands are a disgrace! But after a little initial tweaking I couldn't be arsed to fiddle with her (hurrhurr) much more. It's a bit ironic as I normally tend to do women better than men and put most of my effort into getting him right this time around.

While I don't know that song, the lyrics are very accurate for what I had in mind.

Anyway...

I spent most of today working on an impressionist style acrylic painting for our lounge, here's the result which I am relatively happy with for a change (though this could change by tomorrow haha):

That's beautiful, Mo. I really like the way the ship turned out.

I can't paint a straight line. Why, I can hardly even dip the brush into the paint.

I made that painting using only my tongue.

Now I'll have that song stuck in my head the rest of the day...

Wow, that is AMAZING work! Made even more so by the fact you painted it with your tongue! I tried painting using mental telepathy once. Didn't work so well... :shifty:

How do you like it? I think I'm really getting a hang of this writing thing.
I'm captivated. Is the protagonist's amiable persona a ruse meant to disguise their murderous intent? Hopefully this, and other questions, will be answered in the sequel.

Those both look great, Mo.

You shouldn't have exerted yourself so much by trying to type that post. Now, stay in bed and eat your Jell-O like the nurse told you to.

I did some more practice drawing this weekend. I think I'm about ready for thumbnails and penciling, although it isn't clear yet how I wanna do the inking. I plan on doing some unrelated pages to get a feel for it.

I just realized we are on page 69 of the Doodles thread. Quick, someone post a nude drawing!

Also, don't we traditionally start a new one at this point?

Indiana or the furry con you seem to have attended?

Getting there with the new project. Loads left to do, but I felt the need to show some progress.

Bizarrely it looks bigger here than the original does. Not sure how that works.
