Re: How are you doing, comic-wise?
I think I'm going to be spending most of the weekend tweaking the character models. The old ones I was working off of just aren't holding up with the Bamboo (oddly enough) and my current drawing methods...
Re: How are you doing, comic-wise?
Finished a comic on friday, then had my computer annihilated by a massive power surge. Luckily, I had already backed it up to an external drive, but losing the computer is annoying.

Slowed down massively because I had to restart a page I was about halfway done with Which isn't so bad, at least I hadn't already colored it or anything, but like, dang mannnnn

Re: How are you doing, comic-wise?
My new web-comic/side project/getting myself and RTP back on our feet/thing is in the form of a sit-com, so I'm working on episodes rather than chapters. The script is mostly complete for episode 1, casting is sorted (by which I mean character design), and I need to start work on building the sets.
I'm planning to make Episode 1 and release it, a bit like a pilot (to see how it's received and drum up some interest), then work on the rest of the series to be released weekly or something when it's all done. It's all ideas at the moment yet.

Re: How are you doing, comic-wise?
I'm trying (poorly) to get back to a regular update schedule (once a week first but twice a week is the goal).
I've been experimenting a little with breaking out of my previous page template, making pages longer when I need to and have planned out the next few scenes/story-beats each as single long pages to be cut up as appropriate.
Also I've been reading reviews of other comics, mostly bad comics, which is leaving me with some concern with regards to how I'll be handling some more sensitive subject coming up in the future. Even after I fix the flawed beginning I'm a little worried about how things will be perceived but I suppose that's what I get for going where I'm headed...*sigh*

Re: How are you doing, comic-wise?
Just finished page 10. I'd be much more stoked if weren't worried about the next post. Going on vaction, not sure if I'll be able to get it done in time. I think it'll be alright though. I'm half way to being a real boy! Or at least to finishing my first chapter, which will be an awesome milestone for me.

I've been on vacation since last Thursday (my full week taking off in two years!), and now that I'm finally caught up on interwebs shtuff, it's toon time! Working on getting the next ep of Critters out first, then off to the website for a teardown and rebuild of the main page. I'll be posting my design ideas here, so I'll be needin' your feedback.

Site redesign is essentially done and a new page is up.
If this new scene-per-page (sort of) thing I'm trying out works I may go back and recut my archive at some point. Or maybe not, I don't know, I wrote the earlier pages with a different flow in mind. Oh well that is a decision for another day.

Re: How are you doing, comic-wise?
Nice work schoob! My only complaint is that on some of the buttons, the Harli-handwriting is too thin to be easily legible (for instance the "About Seacliffe" button on the side, I think because you had to shrink it to fit it there)
I'm having trouble finishing this chapter. I have seven pages left in this damn thing and I'm just stalling every step of the way. Plus the amount of time I spend editing each page on the computer has increased by like two hours, on the one hand things look way better but on the other hand oh my god I hate editing for that amount of time.
After I'm done this chapter I'm going on hiatus for like two months and redesigning the site again and doing some drawing study because I need to. I'm itching to work on that redesign now but I'll get caught up in it and this will take even longer.
just pick up the pencil, only you have the power

Re: How are you doing, comic-wise?
Just uploaded Chapter 15.
However the index page and the daily pages don't seem to want to acknowledge that. I hope this is temporary.
