Re: OFFICIAL Mr., Ms., & Thing ComicGenesis 2011
Kids have been in the contest before and have done well. Stick figures have even won the pageant. Don't get hung up on sex appeal; It's only one solution to the problem and isn't always the best one. Personality and creativity go a long way.

Okay, well I'll be entering the following, all from Thirteenth Child and the Autaxia Collective:
Female: Heather Townsend

My Submission for Ms. Comicgen. Piago Rabbintlov.

-An image of the character in swimwear

"Now that's more like it. Mah bellybutton is just too dern cute not tah show off."
Large version here: http://fragart.stalo.com/ish/piagomscom ... imsuit.jpg
-The character's best talent
She thinks it's driving but she should stick to playing the guitar.
-Answers to the following questions:
1. What is the best present you ever received?
Piago: These goggles were a gift from mah mama. I never take 'em off. Just ask the boyfriend.
2. If you could be invisible for 24 hours, what would you do?
Piago: I'd drive around town and totally freak people out since it'd look like mah Vespa was drivin' by its self.
3. What's one silly belief you had as a child?
Piago: I once wanted to be the next Easter Bunny. I figured I'd drive a motorcycle and get all the eggs delivered even faster. Plus I'd only have to work once a year. Never could figure out how ya'd go about applyin' fer a job like that.

You should make those images much smaller.

I don't think i'll have entries for this year, tho. Maybe next time.

Re: not OFFICIAL Mr., Ms., & Thing entry
Please forgive me for this unofficial entry. I've had this dumb thing floating around in my head for days. I hope no one minds, but I wanted to share. I have a character who's only "sort of" been introduced. He's a dead guy, an invisible dead guy. An invisible, resentful, foul mouthed dead guy. The perfect guy to enter a pageant.

I had to euphemism up his language so I could post.
A real entry is coming soon, honest

I'm not sure you did but maybe I've been here too long and forgot the rules. Cool anyway.Adorabledesolation wrote:I had to euphemism up his language so I could post.

I'm a little weird, I LIKE rules!
I know "effin" isn't exactly euphemistic, but I also knew I couldn't use the actual word.
Any suggestions on what I should have done?
Well anyway, the dead guy's got language so foul he literally has made a beta reader cry. He's gotten so bad I've already pushed back introducing him.
He was supossed to show up way back here. And I chickened out.
I think I'll move this conversation to a new thread- if anyone wants to weigh in.

Well, as far as I'm aware, you can swear as much as you'd like on this board. I've never seen anyone censoredAdorabledesolation wrote:I know "effin" isn't exactly euphemistic, but I also knew I couldn't use the actual word.

I might have to get in on this after all. Looks like fun.
I'd really like to know what happened to that Keenspace dealio that VinneD was working on...
