Zeera the Space Pirate is wrapping up

Post by Noemz »

Zeera the Space Pirate is finally coming to an end after eight years. There are about five more updates to go, and then the comic will be a completed archive.

Whew. Well, I've covered all the storylines that I wanted to cover, and resolved everything I wanted to resolve. A web comic is a huge time hog, and I want to work on other things. There's a tiny 'maybe' that I'll add little one-off things at a later date, but the main slog of the comic is finishing.

I want to thank everybody who supported Zeera. Thank you for all your fan art, guest comics and funny comments! You rock.

Alas, McDuffies will have to find another way to set his watch.

Congratulation for being one of the few comics with an actual ending! (hope I can achieve that someday)

Thanks, Ti-Phil. :) Yeah, I see so many comics that sadly ended halfway. A completed archive gives closure! (Which is a very different feeling to a freeway that ends in mid-air.)

Holy crap! You have an animated Christmas comic! And you're just a couple of months from your comic's eighth birthday. Congrats to you! :D

Yeah, congratulations on sticking it out to the end. You get to join an ultra exclusive group of webcomics that actually ended as intended.

GO ZEERA GO ZEERA GO
ZEERA RAP

Sad that it's ending, happy for you that you've made it so far.
Zeera's one of the comics I go back and read over again once a year or so.
Good job. Image

Thanks, I was mostly doing a test for future project. Now after this contract, I may try to do an animated episode... maybe.

Down to just five strips? :(

Ah well, it's a good comic, and it's been a fun ride, it'll be nice to see a wrap-up.

Thanks for all your efforts and entertaining me for years.

Cheers, guys! :D

I've been wrapping it up quickly over the last few weeks before my second year of study kicks in, because things will get crazy stupid again. I'm studying illustration; I'm afraid that Zeera has given me a taste for graphic novels.

There's nothing quite like a web comic to get you kick-started onto more ambitious projects!

You know, I've been waiting all day for a funny comeback to pop into my head, but...

I've got nothing. NOTHING.

So, I'll just have to pop back randomly and poke you with sticks on occasion. Your timing will be stuffed, but at least it will be funny.

well done. Soon my comic will finally be longer running than yours! Ha!

Seriously though, great job in managing to finish.
