Naturally, Andre would fight with his “Dark Angel And Destroyer Of Worlds: The secret Art Of The Gentlemen ©” fighting style. What weapon he uses would vary on which button:

Light produces quick strikes with a glove.
Medium produces unusual thematic strikes.
Heavy produces hits with a Nailbat, so named “Nailbait”.

Tension Attacks/Supers

Secret Gentlemen’s Blitzer: Passive aggression necessary to vanquish a monster without too long starting into the abyss = 632236 Medium = Character animation color switches to black-and-white. Red petals begin to fall to the ground. In slow-motion, I jump towards the enemy, hitting them with a single punch. IF the punch hits, the enemy flies in the opposite direction the punch sends them in for no logically available reason.

Forbidden Gentlemen Art: The generally unverified effects of prolonged expose to smoke, best coming from a warm fire alongside an intellectual conversation = (Aerial) 214214 Light = I fire out several arrows made of smoke towards the enemy, Noel style. After firing out the smoke arrows, I also toss a grenade. If the enemy has been hit by the arrows, they are stunned for the grenade. Otherwise, they can block both.

Final Gentlemen Art: The Gentlemen’s Atheistic God Eraser non-canonical Cannon = Hold 2 followed by 4 Heavy = Used as block-counter. When used, enemy is trapped inside a large top hat, which draws in energy and fire enemy out in a gigantic laser blast.


Normal Specials:

6 Light ==> ))))))) = We all have broken hearts to mend = Produces a single uppercut punch that can be used repeatedly by pressing the button in rapid succession.

222 Heavy = Wicked Prayer and the city of angels = Does a tap dance, kicking up tiny projectiles and doing an area blast.

623 Heavy = The Pendulous Fall = Leaps forward and strikes in a single Nailbat hit, sending the enemy flying back.

214 Medium = Let loose the tides of war = Throws a d20 at the enemy. D20 explodes on impact.

41236 Medium = And so god wept = Vanishes and appears behind enemy, making smoke attack.

632 Light = Ride on The Wings Of Despair = Whips monocle around like on a chain, hitting several times.

2 Hold + 44 = Johannas Wolfgang Von Goethe = Extends arms, grabs enemy and leaps into the air before slamming down after reaching the top of the screen. Designed to be a grab. Enemy is sent flying on impact.

236 Medium = Un Assassinio Molto Silenzioso = Noel-style jump-rush-forward, doing a downward hit with flaming nailbat.

412214 = Ride the Requiem For The Innocent Car = Crosses ground quickly, riding pipe-carz. Tiny explosion on impact.

Jake would utilize the mostly-straightforward Dreamaniac combat style. He would not have different 'modes' or weapons that he would switch between; he does utilize different tools for individual moves, though.

Light produces quick jabs with either limbs or Whippy's tails.
Medium produces more powerful punches and kicks, including some which utilize whippy as a flail (he's invulnerable and doesn't feel pain, don't worry about it.).
Heavy causes Jake to pull his signature Dream Moon out of nowhere and attack with it.

Super Attacks

Crescent Tornado: "Hurricane of Dreams!" = 2146 Heavy = Really LONG strike with moon; if it hits, moon spins around enemy at ridiculous speed, obscuring them from view and striking them 40 times before knocking them into the air slightly.

Gentle Nirvana: "Bliss..." = 214214 Medium = super mode; Jake glows with soft blue-white light, health regenerates very slowly, damage taken reduced, attack power reduced.

Beep Brigade: "Whippy, call in the cavalry!" = 41236 Medium = Whippy strikes with tails; if it connects, Whippy wraps them completely, hops on their head, and makes a sound like a foghorn; a massive stampede of Beeps dashes past the screen, damaging the opponent.

Ball of white energy collects in hand, strikes opponent; if it connects, ball bursts in massive ray of energy, obscuring screen; when it clears, Jake is sitting inside the crescent moon while whippy sits on top; they gather energy together, becoming a bright sillouette, before unleashing a thousand arcing beams of light at the opponent. Screen bursts again, Jake and Whippy surf down on moon, passing through the opponent as the final strike.

Why should it all be in Jake's head? I'm not sure there's enough room in there. Why can't it be a collective fantasy? Jake can be convinced that he's the sole creator of it and that can cause him to try to wake up on his own even though that would kill everyone else, but he doesn't know because he thinks it's all his own dark fantasy

A Dialogue for the story mode maybe...

Niko: And you want to wake up from it?
Jake: yes.
Niko and what happens when you wake up from it?
Jake: Nothing

I'm really completely unsure about the story, really. I do like the idea of the "collective fantasy." If it took place in our collective unconcious, and the evil force was in fact a the combination of everyone's darkness (inner or otherwise), then it makes a bit more sense why we fight (confusion) and why anyone could defeat the darkness (in combining with others' darkness to make itself stronger, our own darknesses increase the total number of weaknesses it has.)

Here's a bit of a revised dialogue, where I get slightly more then seven words.

Niko: "Do you even understand what's happening here?"
Jake: "Not really. It's like a dream... but something's out of place. Something is... alien."
Niko: "Oh? So you want to wake up from this strange dream?"
Jake: "Well, yeah..."

You seriously have no idea how to write, do you?
You take any character that was put into it the dialogue away! The point of it was that in this speech it turns out that the "villain" was actually working to protect everyone. Just to spoil the story for you my motive is to stop everyone from stopping the nightmare because it ending would kill all the people who didn't stop it. You instead turned it into a competition because you feel constantly threatened by me, and so you decide to take this out in what you think is your fantasy world. Jake, Elliot is here with me and we agree that you should not be allowed anywhere near the writing table.
