I was looking for something to do with this box of markers that's been sitting around.

I know (think?) that this style is frowned upon, but it's the one I'm most comfortable with.
Just content I'm preparing for when my comic domain goes up.

My complaint is they're trying to be sprites, but lack the crispness of sprite art

I'm sorry you don't like them. I do my best work at that scale, so as the old saying goes, "That's all I got."

he didn't say he didn't like them. At least I don't think that's what he's implying, he's suggesting that perhaps your technique requires some work, and is trying to encourage you to do so. Unless he's just being a dick, in which case disregard what I'm saying. As a community people here can come off as a bit harsh when they're offering criticism, even when they're trying to be constructive. Take every comment you get about your work as "okay, how can I go about improving on that?"Kevin R Brown wrote:Oh.Killbert-Robby wrote:My complaint is they're trying to be sprites, but lack the crispness of sprite art

If your comic was manga, it'd have a character reffered to as Doo-chan.Dr Legostar wrote:you know it's Doo-shan, right?Killbert-Robby wrote:I'm just happy I learned to pronounce your name "Doo-san" instead of "Dustin"Dr Legostar wrote:there's a reason there's a character in my comic named Jeff the Ninja. but in truth it's pronounced Yef-tin-i-ya.
