I'll tell you what'd be funny. If the Major gets so caught up in his speech that he ends up transforming into this. We'd be little specks. It'd be hilarious.

Re: Millennium Fangirls
there's a couple free programs, the best ones i use is one called UnFreez that you can download that will make animated gifs, and one called IRFanview that can make pretty much anything, even turn gifs into desktop icons and cursors. unfreez is good though, it's essentially a drag and drop program, you just have to make sure the frame files you want to stick in the animation are all GIF format, and the same size, and the program does the rest.Lunathelunatic wrote:(been having computer troubles for the past 3 days)

Nooo! Unfair! foul foul! must...hold...on...Must...wait...till...snogging.....must...see...yao- ITS DA SPEECH!
EDIT: Would anyone that knows something about animated icons care to PM me? I have an icon I'd like to animate that is related to Sunday's comic. Thanks in advance.
I've also been wondering how to animate and icon. For free. i know there are programs out there but you have to pay money.

Would he like it in a box?
Would he like it with a fox?
(probably...although that creates a very odd image...)

...Wibble?
Yeah, I have to give the Major points for effort, but hearing The Speech having phrases like OTP inserted in there wouldn't really do it for me.

That's because you're not in fangirl form. He's speaking their language, thus ensuring his speech hits them dead on.Chaos Priest wrote:Yeah, I have to give the Major points for effort, but hearing The Speech having phrases like OTP inserted in there wouldn't really do it for me.
Major used "THRILLING SPEECH."
It was SUPER-EFFECTIVE!

xD Funny how I've fallen off the Captain's hat in the last panel.
Gundam Wing has hot guys, kick-ass women and mechs. Hellsing has hot guys, kick-ass women and guns. ^_^ Ah, the joys of anime.

Eh, cut him some slack. I mean, this will be the only time Rip gets to hear a version of the speech.

I did think of a way this might backfire. All the fangirls/boys would get off everyone else...and swarm the Major.

I don't think so, for spoilerish reasons. Also I might or might not be imagining them combining to form a giant fanboy the rest of Millenium has to fight. Like Voltron, but squealier.

.... it wasn't the "squee" and "a-flail" that did me in . Nooo it was the spooky dark face's with evil grins that did it.

Observation:
Yesterday's strip (July 1) was Shine's 2000th comic.
All right, folks, cough up the fruit baskets.
(I meant to do something special for the occasion, but was so preoccupied with travel and school that it flew right by. Eheh.)

The fans are passing out. What is it about a speech about epic war that fanboys/fangirls find awesome?
