You know, I gotta say I do enjoy this model of improv collaboration comics (you know, jams). The added challenge of building off the previously established plot and giving the next artist some areas to take off is great practice, it s like a game of chess. Its something I feel is lacking in our typical jams, and I think its because it lacks this level of focus, you know the eternal metaphor of spreading a little bit of awesome jelly on a giant slice of toast.

I agree.

I already have the idea for my next entry. Hopefully I'll have it done by this weekend.

So I mentioned this to IV, but I think we might want to consider collecting these all together and making them into a booklet including an explentation of the tournament and the prize fan art for the winner. Everyone gets a minicomic added to their arsenal.

A sweat idea in theory, but I don't know how well it work considering two of the original 4 match-ups never finished. :(

I had talked to McD about putting them up on Space Jams. Though that site is kind of dead so it might work better just to set up a new CG site to host them.

Thats the tricky part huh? Well, we could ask the ones that just peetered out to draw a wrap up if they're up to it. Its in their interest after all.

A book?!

...Sure, why not! I mean, who knows the next time I'm gonna be in the mood to draw this much. And, I've never been in print before.

Anyways, I've been busy lately but I managed to pencil the first page tonight. I plan on penciling the second (easier) page Friday night, and then inking/scanning/lettering the pages on Saturday. I don't mean to "overdo" it with such an extensive entry, but having the eight characters interact with each other to the extent I desire just isn't feasible in only one page.

And considering some people stretched the canvas a little.

Looks like everyone is ready to rock!
Okay the next page is all written up, I'll begin working on it tonight. I'm kind of hoping that everything plays out as I expect it to as I have an epic idea on how this can wrap up.

P.S. I love Seth's line there. Zing!

Thanks. I was trying to play up the conflict between Gummi's shallowness and Seth's pretentiousness. Although, I think all four of the juxtapositions could be considered as pairings of opposites.

1. Naruto
2. Otaku no Video
3. ???

Also, no help from me here, as I hadn't heard of Otaku no Video until now, and I've never watched Naruto.

There, it is a playlist of all the opening Naruto songs. You can also try google. The first hit on a search for "naruto music" http://www.narutofan.com/multimedia/music

if you scroll down it has a list of all the opening themes.

You might also try this.
