Comments on the Comic
Because you know you'll love ranting about whatever mistakes or inconsistancies I've put in the comic. And because I am terrible at html coding, and thus I will be using this thread to comment on whatever comics I put up. And so the other guys can give their own little thoughts (good or bad) about the comic.
On the Andrew's closet storyline comics:
Ugh. What was supposed to be a way to introduce a bunch of in-jokes got way out of hand (and way out of updates.) I've finally wrapped it up in my own little way. Not a very good way, but I'm satisfied with the fact that I actually finished it. I have one more thing to say: drawing a full-page comic takes too long to be practical. So there. Oh, and my tablet should be arriving soon, so expect my previous statement to be rescended by next week.

On Tv Tropes:
It's addicting, can ruin your life, and is highly entertaining. And free, just like I said. It's even worse for ADD people like me, since it can keep me occupied for hours.
The top got cut off a bit on the scan, but oh well.

On the Warp Drive boots:
These resulted, like many of my ideas, from a completely random conversation with Mark. All I needed to do was add a Bugs Bunny reference.

On the Tablet Drawings:
It's taking me a while to get used to it, but I'm progressing. Mostly it involves figuring out how to make use of the drawing program effectively.

Eeveelution squad:
Fun: Yes
Risky: Yes
Viable: Rarely
Only proficient in BP chains stretching on to infinity, and the moment a pHazer switches in, you're hosed unless you run Ingrain Smeargle (which defies the definition).
Boss Rush for readers (chirpchirp) was Helper to Hero mode on Kirby Super Star Ultra. I won both Buggzy and Gim (Suplex and Yo-Yo), and then Jake quit
Anime club, in the grand total of three hours I've attended, is full of loud violent video game nerds who give me nicknames and beat me with green Flexirulers for "arriving late", and then accuse my Battletech of being D&D with robots (it isn't!!!). Regardless, it is a sanctuary for the gamers in school...

Shelby is a bit of a tsundere, but hey, I don't mind getting hit with a green flexiruler if she's the one doing it. I agree on the Battletech part, though. D&D has roleplaying, dammit! Oh yeah, and it is in fact one of the few gamer reserves in school. Cause Anime and Gaming go hand in hand.IceBug wrote:

And I'll have my revenge with the Boss Rush, oh yes

On Andrew out-ninjaing Mark...
I drew ACTION LINES in the second panel! Hoorah!

On Neil Building an Airship, and thus Rawking:
You know, the nice thing about the 'Life Embellished' part of webcomics is that when real life fails to provide me with sufficient material (note to self, hang out with Neil and the guys more), I can make something totally insane and nonsensical up and people generally accept it. After all, it's a friggen' AIRSHIP.

Got into an argument with dad over updating this one. Won. Jeez, I'm still in shock, really. And it wasn't even about content.

Re: Comments on the Comic
Massive insomnia 1:30am on a school/night update!
February 11: Silly Mark. You also forgot rule 343: I win always.
February 12: Jake's expression is priceless. And, rarely would I admit Neil would be more awesome than Ninja-Andrew, but the construction of an airship would explainwhy he hasn't been in a comic since the rocket boot episode on January 30.
February 13: Jake forgot to elaborate on Mr. Strangerdude here. I want answers!!! Also, Kim Jong Il?
February 16: Note that I'm not in this comic. If I were, the fight would have been a stalemate. But sure, Roosevelt could maim a ninja squadron, with or without his famous "Big Stick".
February 17: No comment, I think Jake wanted to draw everyone all in one panel. Props for me hanging from the ceiling.
February 18: Ah, Jake solving his internal conflict problems like only Rorschach can! And you still owe me a trip to Battletech...
February 19: Cave Story is indeed great (especially the final fight (no Jake, not Ballos...)). Not as hard as Jake made it out to be at first, but maybe that's because I've been playing I Wanna Be The Guy...
February 20: In response to an article in our school news that alienated, apparently, 85% of the student body. All it did was piss a bunch of people off, make the writer of said article leave the school till things cooled down, and make Jake write a comic about IB kids and our ranting. Also, cue another "cynic" poke in first panel. Ha ha indeed, Jake. Ha......ha.......
February 23: No doodles meaning it wasn't just a comic where you played with your tablet and blamed it on Neil (in a subverted way). Right...
February 24: And, Mark gets a beep. That we'll never see again until Jake reads this post and includes it again to spite me...
February 25: Hitsugi! Props for the use of "googol".
February 26: Fun facts: a. I was having a good week. b. My computer was broken, so IWBTG was out of the question. Besides that, I love the cynic beam, and my expression in that panel. Jake, why does it say "Aaaah! Evil flower!" beneath the third panel.
February 27: More trivia: a. This is filler! Albeit good filler... b. The Kirlia and Larvitar are named after the two main characters in Cave Story (shameless plug), but Kirly should be spelt Curly (don't worry, I get the joke, but don't make hybrid references, it confuses the crickets/readers).
March 2: Metaphor filler bomb! P.S.- I keep track of the records. So I know what I need to break. And because I have a sick obsession with record/list-memorization...ask Jake, he remebers "Boss Battles" and the trivia challenges in middle school. Seriously, we tried to out-random-knowledge each other. /end off-topic mini rant
March 3: Beep mosh!!! *cue metal rock*. Also, first cmic in which Geraldo appears in color...I thought he was going to be red! My life is a lie!!! *cries*
March 4: And the scary part is, that's a DOODLE COMIC! If Shelby put any time into it, she'd own the interwebs by now...
Also, I told you there were violent people in Anime Club. Ya'know, Flexirulers and all...
March 5: Togekiss surfing filler!
March 6: Jake, you're just mad I owned 3/4 of the 236 Skittles on the table after the first hand. And I never get sugar high. That's Mark, remeber, and he was doing *gasp* standardized state testing. (We played Texas Hold-em for Skittles while the underclassmen did testing. Then we played nerd-tag...)
March 9: Poke-fan-fic filler! I can't believe you posted that without Elliot's comment: "It's a mobile camping experience!"
March 10: WHOSAWHAT FULLCOLORTABLETCOMIC!!! Bravo! Jake forgot: "...and wear a dress shirt with a pocket protector and a tie everywhere and am afraid to get into trouble and I were glasses and I don't have any real friends and I need an inhaler to survive a scene and..." wow that could go on forever. I've decided to put "Fluent in English, Spanish, Battletech, Marvel and DC comics, Pokemon, Sci-fi/Fantasy, all dialects of game console, Anime, Cave Story, Yu-Gi-Oh (don't judge me), Gamefaqs, IWBTG, Meme, Hi Mom!, and Dreamaniac. Currently studying Japanese, WoW, and Theoretical Spaceship Design" on an application for college, or for an application to be recognized as a hyper-polyglot, just for you, Jake. Nerd rage indeed.
P.S.- PUT AMELIA IN A COMIC DANG IT!!! SHE'S BEEN MIA SINCE NOVEMBER 12TH!!! COMIC NAO!!!
P.S.S.- I will be doing this for the comics since the begininng of Dreamaniac. Stay tuned! Andrew out.

Just to liven up this topic a little:
Nice going today with the Calvin and Hobbes reference. God, I love those two. I have the complete collection. And, if you were able to ACTUALLY make a snow-fort, I applaud you.

I also have the complete collection! And yes, I did make a snow fort. I've been doing them for years, so I've gotten pretty good over the years. This comic doesn't quite meet my own standards of artistic skill, but I hope to fix that in the coming week.

Right on. There wasn't enough snow here to make one, and also there's no space for me to do so. Can't wait for Monday's.

It's well colored.
It's amazingly drawn.
It features a bunch of characters.
It HAS SAFFRON AND ROSALYN IN IT.
It has FIRE.
It has ELECTRICITY.
It has MUSIC.
It has AN AIRSHIP.
Must I go on?

It has me in it.
It has Shelby in it.
It has Mark and Andrew in it.
It has Amelia in it.
It has Neil in it.
It has you in it.
It has Eric in it.
It involves meticulous planning.
You admit that you had doodles that were not actual comics, like some snotty webcomic writers would not do.
IT'S NOT FILLER.
