Wait, Claude's scribble drawings (except for the one with Lunar vs. Kirb, I'd pay too watch that as long as they used deadly weaponry) get more attention then my carefully drawn figure?

...the scribbles weren't just him.
And besides this isn't a critiquing thread it's doodles drawings here are just for the heck of it...don't expect any attention just be thankful if you get it.

It would also be in your best interest to get used to a handful of forumites getting far more attention than anyone else. Its a lot like highschool.

As per my comparison everyone knows that a rocking 'stash is a one way ticket to popularville.

Why yes.Dreamaniaccomic wrote:Any thoughts?
This is a doodles thread, not a critique thread, not an attention thread. Complaining that a member who's been around for years and years gets more comments than you is.... yeah.

I finally at long last have good pictures of a diorama I put together as a gift for the ROTC, now prominently on display in their main office. I took the pictures about a month ago, and finally got around to uploading them
The scene is a small squad section occupying a ruined building with armored support at hand.
http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d121/ ... 030027.jpg
Here is the Lieutenant, supervising his men and accompanying them at the forefront on this dangerous mission.
http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d121/ ... 030022.jpg
The next in the Chain of Command, the section sergeant who's checking to make sure everyone is into the building.
http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d121/ ... 030023.jpg
The experience Specialist has found himself a nice secure spot to watch for the enemy.
http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d121/ ... 030021.jpg
His friend, the Corporal, is working the turret on the APC, ready to lay down heavy fire on their flank and front.
http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d121/ ... 030024.jpg
A blown out window offers protection for this Private First Class watching for movement to the front.
http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d121/ ... 030025.jpg
The newest guy to the team, the Private 2 gets the "honor" of lugging both a rifle AND a grenade launcher, and he's secured the other flank along with...
http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d121/ ... 030026.jpg
...this Private First Class carrying a spare drum of ammo.
http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d121/ ... 030031.jpg
http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d121/ ... 030028.jpg
http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d121/ ... 030030.jpg
These view offer a more detailed look at the diorama as a whole.

For him, it's a big improvement in his style. I think he understands that his stuff isn't as good as other peoples', nor is it as interesting. It's kinda hard to top Claude when it comes to "interesting" doodles. With all that, Dream was rather correct that veteran posters will tend to draw more attention because they also tend to be better having done art longer than new people, and simply because they've been here longer.War wrote:Yours isn't exactly very good or interesting is it.Dreamaniaccomic wrote:Wait, Claude's scribble drawings (except for the one with Lunar vs. Kirb, I'd pay too watch that as long as they used deadly weaponry) get more attention then my carefully drawn figure?![]()
