I'm actually running a Spirit of the Century game right now, though it's set in a Rifts-ey WW2 rather than pure pulp WW1. So far my players have faced a platoon of zombies, a dragon-riding Russian baroness, and an immortal Nazi teddy bear--and they almost caught Captain Jack Sparrow. Not to mention working with The Ninth Door, an underground rift-monitoring organization comprised of thinly disguised video game characters. And the quote of the day, which wasn't even something I set up: "Did--Did the invisible velociraptor just give you a wet willy?"
Yeah. I'm having fun. Very strange game.
