Orright. I know it has nothing to do with Steverino! in any way, shape or form. Wait, actually it has something to do with the 80's. And all the characters in Steverino! were alive in the 80's. So there you go.
Anyway, I need a fix. Heed me well, cos I'm pissed and frustrated about finals. Does anyone know where I can download episodes of that oh-so-wonderful cult 80's kid show, You Can't Do That On Television? I can't find any. And I only have this LAN connection for five more days. So hurry up and tell me!!!! I have a craving and I haven't seen this show since 1989.
You're going to kill me for doing this, aren't you, Steve honey?
------------------

Yes, Elaine, Mr. T came from the 80's! ;>
Considering that you're obviously stressed about exams, and also considering that since I have three exams (yes, you read right) on Monday I might not be able to do anything then, I decided to help you out a little. With a little help from DogPile, I came up with this site, which should at least provide you with a jumping-off point. It has one ep available for download right now, but the links might have more, and it does have a clips section.
Hope that helps a little. ;>

Elaine cannot be blamed for not studying today. Erin and I have officially declared today a Totally Useless Day (TM), and not studying on such days is nearly mandatory.
Now, yesterday and tomorrow... those are different stories. ;>

Sorry, Steve. I tried to let everyone know sooner, but those bastards at CNN wouldn't listen to me. They were all in huff over some nuclear testing in Iraq or something else far less important.

When you really think about it, if you lump all thier accomplishments together, Canadians are almost as entertaining as me! Hey it's my board I'll say what I want!
It's aboot time they got their respect, eh? Ah that's just gonna get me in trouble! Bah!
~Stephen Emond, the guy with glasses.

Sigh... this reminds me of one of my favorite episodes of Mystery Science Theater (second, probably, to the "LOOK AT MY CROTCH!!!!!" one, "The Final Sacrifice"... wait, I won't go there. The more I talk about it, the more I'll want to procrastinate and watch it and not study. Oh too late. *TV on now*
------------------

::sigh:: Yes, Steve. *turns off the wildly entertaining MST3K*
Totally Useless Day? Yeah, what the hell! I never heard about that. And the University should have worked that into their policy, so that my first exam would be tomorrow. Of course, that would mean 14,000 or so drunk kids, even drunker faculty, and a ho train longer than Route 195.
------------------

Let's just face it, Canadians are funny. Especially when you beat them to a pulp because you think they're extradimensional travelers.
. . .
...okay, Elaine, please tell me you remember where that's from, 'cause otherwise I'm dying here... ;>

The Sliders joke, remember? ;>
Just to fill in people who didn't catch the reference: Sliders was a sci-fi show that featured four people (Hero, Smart Guy, Love Interest, Token Black Man) jumping around between alternate dimensions on Earth. One of the perennial features of the show was that, since the main characters usually stuck out like sore thumbs, they made the excuse, "We're from Canada." This showed up a while as a running undercurrent through the first three seasons, but almost got to be a bad joke by the fourth season - nearly every episode included one Canada reference.
The joke is one Scully and I concocted in our spare time, a sort of skit where someone who actually was from Canada comes down to the area where the main events of the most recent episode had occurred, and winds up getting savagely beaten by people who think that "I'm from Canada" is a universal excuse for being an interdimensional traveler. It's funnier in context.

Yeah, but I told it to you... then again, that was the first time that Team Lum was winning, so I can understand that you don't recall. ;>

Funny, the only time Lum ever won anything should be permanently filed away in my memory with bells and flashing lights. Damn brain.
------------------
