I've used forums2.comicgenesis.com since Sunday, but now everything posted Tuesday - posts in any forum as well as PMs - seems to have vaporized. What the hell.

Did the forum go back in time? This is weird. Everything is gone.

I keep being logged out. It's a little annoying.

Is this an alternate time-stream where Tangywolf decided not to go to that con and where I didn't whine about my workload?

Everything else looks the same in my room. Are any of you guys women now or something.

No still fine here.

But now there's all these weird people that are into anthropomorphic animals, they're everywhere... OH wait- they were always there, my bad. :(

I'll keep hitting it with a wrench to see if that works, wish me luck.

I had the same problem - well, I wasn't exactly logged out, the forum just didn't show me I was logged in...

Anyway, by now forums.comicgenesis.com and forums2.comicgenesis.com take you to the same place. One important difference: using forums.comicgenesis.com does not give you the logout problem.

It's confusing. I'm not really sure when I'm on either cause it keeps switching. I'm a little afraid of posting something and then it erasing.

It should be resolved soon. I hope.

Why do people switch to Vista, I dunno.

Oh Windows- I kid, I kid.

I think this thread should be now officially called, The complaint thread.

I've been trying to install Service Pack 3 into my Windows XP and it won't happen. Every so often I tell myself to switch to Linux but I don't.

I just may take myself more seriously this time.

The official word from the CG Help Center is:
Dr Neo Lao wrote:the server transfer has been finalised.

Please discontinue use of the "2" server.
So go back to using http://forums.comicgenesis.com/viewforum.php?f=881 - this will also eliminate the involuntary logout problem.

I haven't tried Ubuntu in a while, since 7.10, but I never really had any problems with it. It could have changed. I'm using Fedora now. It feels a lot more put together, but I have been burned by broken packages several times.

It might've just been my hardware configuration, but I had all kinds of trouble getting it running in the first place. Especially my wireless card.

After it was up and running, things were mostly smooth with a bug here and there.

When I tried to update to a newer version (8.x), everything reverted to not working. So I switched back to Vista.
