...but get no "Please verify by putting a code word in at this page." email...
...or do get it, but the page doesn't work.
THEN LET US KNOW HERE! I need your:
- username that you picked for your comic
- when you signed up
- What ISP you are using.
- and if you got the verify email, but the verify page isn't working.
Some ISP's, such as AT&T and AOL, and Microsoft's Hotmail/Live Mail are blocking us. If you cannot get our email, you need to contact them. We have tried to follow their procedures and continue to get burned. Applying pressure on your end seems to be the only way to get them to fix the problem...
...well, except Microsoft's Hotmail/Live Mail. Spammers are all over that like white on rice.

Yahoo! Mail is being delayed. I've contacted Yahoo! about it, and will try to get it cleared out. It's not on our end.
IF YOU GOT VERIFIED, AND YOUR SITE IS UP, BUT NEVER GOT A PASSWORD AFTER THE 7-10 DAY WAITING PERIOD, THIS ISN'T THE THREAD FOR YOU! Don't post here! Instead, follow these instructions:
Dr Neo Lao wrote:If your comic is showing up (or at least the account is) then that means that you should be able to go get a password on your own right now.
Read this page in the CGWiki for instructions on how to change/get your FTP password.
Take the time to read through the other tutorials if you have not already done so.
Important! You will need to make at least one change on the templates in order to get the comic to show up in IE - find this part in the templates:
- Code: Select all
.info {font-size:0.75em;}
//--!>
And change it to this:
- Code: Select all
.info {font-size:0.75em;}
//-->
That apostrophe means that nothing except the background colour show up in Internet Explorer (but the comics work fine in all other browsers).
I repeat UNABLE TO VERIFY PEOPLE ONLY THIS THREAD, please. I thank you for your patience!
