Re: Today's comic
As an admitted compulsive looter and pack rat, I must say that I LOVE games where the GM doesn't bother with encumbrance.
I had a tree climbing sniper who carried a 10 ft pole while leaping from branch to branch. Never got called on it. I just mention that I'm setting down my stuff here and there and the DM never even checked.
Sure it detracts from the realism and immersement of the game, but if he's not gonna think about it why should I?
Nobody complains about realism when you characters never poop.

Re: Today's comic
When it comes to "generic adventuring gear" my group uses the classic PC Adventure game approach and pretends you have your own private pocket dimension.
One of these days I'll have to actually make a character who has an enormous buff coat in which he can store a St. Bernard...

Good catch on the flying pig, I didn't even notice that at first!

I totally missed that. Mark-the-barbarian does have a 20 strength, unless Joel made him tone it down.Vaporisor wrote:Good catch on the flying pig, I didn't even notice that at first!
