Good luck to everyone!!
I noticed webcomics steadily attract more viewers the longer they are kept up. Also the artists improve and change their style. I'm just saying, good luck to us all!! (waste of space topic
)

Also, water is wet.
It's a good reason why new comic folk shouldn't give up their comics too easily, though; it does in fact get better, folks. Hell, just look at Penny Arcade if you need proof.

Sometimes I wonder what my comic would be like now if I had been drawing it all those years I spent away from it.
There's no way of knowing, although I imagine it would probably be a lot better than it is now.

When I was a kid, I got a toy saxophone for a birthday. If I didn't eventually lost it, maybe I'd be a virtuoso by now.

I moved away from my artistic best friend. I wonder if I would be more into drawing if I hadn't.McDuffies wrote:When I was a kid, I got a toy saxophone for a birthday. If I didn't eventually lost it, maybe I'd be a virtuoso by now.
PS. I just saw your post count and pooped a brick.
Re: Good luck to everyone!!
haha maybe like the artist DESERVES to improve. Keeping up a webcomic over a long period of time takes a lot of dedication and love.
I don't think dropping something is necessarily bad; I could have been a ballerina, gymnast, violin player, swimmer, martial artist, figure skater, potter--but I'm neither of those and that's that. It's just admirable when people DO stick to things. Keeping up a webcomic over a long period of time takes a lot of dedication and love. It's more like the artist DESERVES to improve

And good luck to you, I saw you just started this new comic called Parallel...something or other. Keep it up kid and I'm sure one day you will make it up to webcomic stardom like me and my comic...Darken.834n wrote:Yes.

Improvement FTW
I wonder what my art would be like if I had kept drawing regularly instead of being a lazy bum on hiatus half the time. Might have hit this point in three years instead of five.

Yes, just keep it up. All it usually takes is some luck (the right person links to you, etc.). Persistence pays off at least in satisfaction.

Heh, the good thing is you can laugh it off in the future for how err, different your drawing looks like

i dunno, you took a long break from Shenanigan and suddenly you art improved when you came back, maybe taking breaks is what makes you improve.Pimpette wrote:Improvement FTW

So if I stop drawing for long enough, I'll become the best artist "evar!"
