Postby Phact0rri on Fri Mar 28, 2008 8:43 am

Fantasia is a brand new dropdown, for all comics of the Fantasy, swords and sorcery sort of genre. This is a brand new dropdown, and we are scrapping the old one entirely. So right now.. this is a proposed dropdown to see if there are any takers.

so post in, if you are interested in joining please post answers to these questions

1. Your Comics Name

2. your comic's URL

3. how exactly is your comic 'fantasy'?

4. Your comics rating (if not 14)

add this code to your page
Code: Select all
<script language="JavaScript"
src="http://decypher.keenspace.com/scripts/fantasia.js"
type="text/JavaScript" /> <br />
</script>

When you say "the old one", are you referring to Flights of Fancy/Fantastical Tales? That's the one I belong to now. If this new one will be the replacement, sure, I'd like to join.

name: The Mansion of E

URL: http://mansionofe.comicgen.com/

Fantasy: it has magic use, and various types of sentient critters.

Rating: I guess 14 is right.

I've plugged the code into my page and it should be up tomorrow (April 30th), but right now the "sign me up!" link goes to the Furry Tails Forum thread, and not this one.

1. Drow Love is Tough Love (abbreviate to Drow Love)

2. http://drowloveistoughlove.comicgenesis.com Disclaimer: we have sort of a placeholder site in there while someone is making us a nice one so uh, it kinda looks like butt right now. >_>

3. It's basically D&D with no dice.

4. Web-14 IIRC

I can't add stuff to the site, but I'll show this to the person who can as soon as he comes online.

how it works... is on the dropdowns I run, I put the comics up, if after two weeks its not listed on the page, I post a message in the thread. if no response the comic deleted from the dropdown, you are always welcomed to resubmit though.

added btw.

You could take "The" off the beginning of my comic name - I feel bad having the longest name by far, it makes the thingy so much wider!

Hello! My comic isn't ready for advertising yet (I'd like to have 20 pages before I do any kind of advertising - I'm about a 1/4 of the way done averaging about 1-2 comics a week.), but I'm wanting to clarify a few things;

1) Is this open to non-ComicGenesis pages (I have my own host)
2) Is there a ratings limitation? I'm not sure if my comic would be considered Web-14 or Web-Mature (It has some same-sex partially nude scenes that are obviously going to lead further, but nothing explicit actually shown and these scenes are NOT the focus of the story, just part of the development of one character. Also non-genital nudity.. by that I mean backshots (bum) and waist-up of male characters who are, infact, nude but no genetilia shown.)
3) My comic has a slight sci-fi element that lasts about 10-15 pages. The main character is from a futuristic spacefaring society but winds up trapped on a backwater planet. It's overall a fantasy comic, but part of the comic crosses into sci-fi. Is this the right dropdown for it? The prologue (5 pages) sets the fantasy theme, but then it cuts to this other section to develop the main character before really getting into the fantasy. (Think Escaflowne, Star Ocean, Harry Potter sort of thing - even though I've been writing this story for about 17 years - before any of these were published.)

If you comic is higher than web14, you need to let us know the rating so we can signify its rating for people.

Well I'll review it. but if its like swords and magic and junk its fine. if not, there's also Scifi genesis dropdown.
