I can almost hear the "Ha haa!" coming from the window!
I was listening to "Focus on the Family" the other day, and apparently, the last section of our brains to develop physically are our frontal lobes. This chunk of brain typically houses the area where we learn to consider the long term consequences of our actions. Most of the time this area doesn't really develop until we are well into our teen years, and sometimes as late as our twenties.
In short, to quote Bill Cosby - "All children are brain damaged!" =^^=
Which is why parental guidance is so important as children honestly will not be able to consider the long term repercussions of their actions.
Always tell the truth, that way you don't have to remember anything. -- Mark twain
