Just when I think everything is better, there's another dagger. Another dagger to the heart. Well at least I have other things to keep me busy at the moment, like trying to learn PHP.
Re: Revenge of the unhappy thread.
Juggling 8 projects at once is proving to be harder than i previously thought.
You know, i should work on this.

Mental illness runs in my family and i'm alittle sick myself! Don't want to go into deep details, but i'm on meds folks! I suffer from schizophrenia! I actually lost my last job due to this! It's a battle, but what can you do!

unfortunately, that's one of the missing options for animations.

my school financial aid is being cut and I will probably have to drop one of the degrees I'm pursuing as well as my second concentration.
And even then it'll still take me two more years to graduate.

OMG Mv, that's horrible. I'm so sorry.
In other news, this thread and the other one is close to hitting 100 pages. Maybe it's time to close it?

Could be worse. Your governor could be a moron and NOT be on his way to being forced out of office for patronizing call girls.grabmygoblin wrote:my governor is a total moron.

big fucking deal. It's not like he forced himself on an under-aged Congressional Page, or hit on an undercover cop in a Minneapolis men's room.
see, if prostitution was legal, we wouldn't have these problems

My immediate supervisor is making me seriously consider walking out and not coming back. Yes, it's that bad.

the prostitution didn't bother nearly as much as the fact that he prosecuted people for similar and lesser offenses. ethical breeches don't get much more dramatic and extreme than that!!ahaugen wrote:OMG! I kind of wanted to see an official impeachment proceedings just because I think resigning is always a copout, but on the plus side Paterson seems to be an ok guy. maybe we'll actually see something happen here in Albany!
oh yeah, and boo hoo, I ran out of Dr. Who season 3 discs. [s]BRITS. START FILMING.[/s] (make that BBC. START STREAMING.)

Re: Revenge of the unhappy thread.
If you kill the happy/unhappy threads, OT will be plagued with dozens of lj-like threads again. This way we can at least keep all the gloating and bitching in their own separate pens.prettysenshi wrote:In other news, this thread and the other one is close to hitting 100 pages. and just to keep on the rails..
i'm poor and paranoid and sleeping badly
stress minus sleep usually ends in awesome work by laurel (like wtf p&a has been updating again), but oh god I forgot what it does to my brain. Also I forgot that waking up repeatedly during the night is HORRIBLE and I should stop doing it.

Re: Revenge of the unhappy thread.
So it looks like the owner of the building where I work isn't letting up on his rent negotiations. Hence, we'll be starting to dismantle the haunted house side of the building early next month...the museum will still be open during April, but after that they're gonna have to tear it down too, or move it (and obviously we can't be open while they're building a new place for us to be). So...job hunting time again after all.
