Queerspace - new GLBT dropdown

Post by Nerdgasm »

Since GLBTSpace, the former GLBT dropdown, has been apparently dead since '06, I've created a new one called QueerSpace. Same requirements as GLBTSpace, but hopefully with phact0rri's idea of centralized dropdowns, this dropdown won't die even if I do. :D
To qualify for this dropdown you must:

Have an otherly oriented or gender bending artist/author OR currently have an otherly oriented or gender bending central character.

You comic must have at least 15 full pages or 20 strips in your archive. You must also place the dropdown script either somewhere on your main page or on your links page (main page preferable).
Please place the code on your page before filling out the application.

Here is the code:

<script language="javascript"
SRC="http://nerdgasm.comicgenesis.com/dropdown.js"> </SCRIPT>

A brief description of why your comic qualifies.
Like I said, I'm not really trying to start anything new here, just resurrect a dead idea, as the GLBT dropdown was on the list of dropdowns that needed to be recreated.
I will most likely try to contact people who were added (or who applied and never received a response) to GLBTSpace to see if they'd like to join.

Why my comic qualifies:
Two reasons. First I'm a trans creator and this is openly referred to on the site (including samples of my "trans tarot deck". Second I do strips about my own life, and currently am doing one about gender variant priestesses in ancient Rome.

Incidentally, the last option on that list, http://decypher.comicgen.com/keendrop/, gives an "Unauthorized access. " error.

LOL... there's no comma in the original code, but it does appear that the dropdown directory formerly at http://decypher.comicgen.com/keendrop/ has disappeared. Is there a new dropdown directory?

Hrm...though I myself am a rabid and screaming lesbian, my comic really, really, REALLY doesn't have much at all to do with any GLBTWTFBBQ (heh) issues. Not really. I have one character I'm considering making bisexual, but I have no real plans to have plot points about sex, love, or marriage at this time. Maybe someday, if the plot naturally calls for it, but right now my comic is basically just Star Wars-meets-Star Trek (in essence; it's my own universe).

...so...not sure if I qualify. Can I get a ruling? :)
