How can you not love a line like "Joel! Stop messing with the pretentious goth kids!"?

And I can't wait to see what you did for Tub of Happiness, Alina!

If you did, so did I. WTF?
Simple Simon met a pieman going to the fair;
Said Simple Simon to the pieman "Let me taste your ware."
Said the pieman to Simple Simon "Show me first your penny."
Said Simple Simon to the pieman "Sir, I have not any!"

Half-elves and golems and nymphs, oh my!

Google tells me this.

Seems she contributed some art for that.

Edit: More poking and prodding the web has uncovered the web comic it is from.

Quite possibly! If this is to allow all forms of geekery to manifest themselves in their real world, that could be pretty cool. Geeks suddenly becoming the ones with the knowledge to fight off the horrible things that they are responsible for the emergence of. I still think it is more likely Joel is behind this, though... Then again, I will probably always suspect Joel...

Well, Joel is just a suspicious sort. But, he can't be responcible for everything.

...Hey! New conspiracy theory!

Ok, now the Hunter just sounds like half the jocks from when I was in high school.

I think this narrows down the speculation to either the Hunter just being a really psychotic moron or everything he's saying actually being true.

If the comic reality is based on perception, this could get quite confusing.

Or the whole comic is an RPG and the character of "Mark" is played by boyfriend of the girl who plays the character of "Sarah," who's the sister of the guy who's playing the character of "Joel" who's the college roommate of the guy playing "Dustin" who's really married to the girl who's playing "Abby" and everyone else, like Jess, the Hunter and the game store guy, is just an NPC that is controlled by a DM who looks exactly like the guy that ran the Shadowrun game.

So you'd have a game within a game within a comic!

I've had characters in a game sit down and roleplay a "training scenario" for vampire hunting. It was too surreal, too meta for me to deal with very long.

On the other hand...

WOOO!!! CAMEOS ABOUND!
I See alot of people from Zormel's Raiders!
Our spoony bard playing a lute over in the corner, Simon, Rowan, Terra and Korgan sitting around a table (Terra is standing) and enjoying some ale, and Jakob looks like hes trying to ply the barkeep for information/a free drink.

I'm high on cameo glee!

Behold the wisdom of Alina, not scaring readers with Korgan's face!
I think that might be Aeron at the bar!

Also, that's a great classic joke.

OMG! My head just asploded from pure glee! =D First I was ROFL from the Dark Shadowy Corners joke, then I went back at the mention of cameos and I was like "O.O AWESOME!" Hehehe! It'd be so cool if Simon got caught fumbling a Pick Pocket check on one of their party! Ooo! Ooo! If it was Abbie's charie he could always claim he was just copping a feel. XD

Good point about Jess, cloud213. If I had to guess I'd imagine she'll be making her In Character appearance somewhere in this inn in the next comic or two and acting totaly Out of Character.

Yes, I'm thinking the same about Jess, if she does decide to show up, that is.
Maybe as a quest-giver in Dark Corner number 76,812.

Also, I'm pretty sure Jakob is at the bar, Aeron is in the far left, back corner in the first panel with the lute - at least, thats what comparing the Zormel's Raider's pic tells me.

Didn't they invite her to a Munchkin and Arkham Horror session?
