Why are YOU eccentric?

I always put an even number of ice cubes into my glass before I add whatever beverage I'm going to drink.

I have to add the ice cubes last, and whether the number is even or odd really depends on how many are in the tray...I prefer three, though.

Not liking ketchup or american cheese is also apparently something that tends to make people think that one is eccentric.

I tend to want to make sure that I do equal amounts of EVERYTHING (like when dancing, or exercising) with my body so that one side doesn't get overdeveloped (or underdeveloped).

I seem to REALLY be all about balance in that sense as well as other manners of speaking.

I hate acorn squash but love all other (so far) forms of squash. that said, spaghetti squash is boring.

I dunno if it counts as "eccentric", but whatever.

I absolutely refuse to talk on the phone if I'm crying or close to tears, or in a state in which I know I'll start crying for whatever the reason because I have this kinda-sorta phobia of doing it and people being unable to understand me and, instead, being subjected to the sound of me blubbering. as opposed to speaking clearly.

I have to have my pillow turned a certain way. The open end of the pillowcase must be pointing toward the right side of the bed (that's if you're standing at the foot, looking toward the head). When I look at beds on movies or TV shows, and they face the pillows the wrong way, it absolutely drives me crazy, because I can't fix it!

when pumping gas, if the pump stops and the dollar value is at something like $12.53, I have to squeeze the pump just enough to bump it to $12.55 or, if I miss it. $12.60 and so on.

hmm.. I'd call this a bit of an eccentricity: I tend to prefer to get a lot out of very little. things with tons of buttons and switches aren't really my thing--half of 'em won't get used for ages. lol
